Oh my. The hair is ridiculous. It’s amazing how much hair one dog can amass and lose in a day. My girl gets really growly and snarly when I try to brush her. She doesn’t actually bite or anything, just shows the shark teef, and does bitey face. 😂
I lost my girl 4 years ago and it still stings. Watching your babies helps a lot. I will get another one day but I’m researching first to be a better human for my shepherd. Watching your babies, especially Jet, helps the time go by a little easier

I have a 10 month old shepherd lab mix . We haven't slept all night in 6 months . She is getting better only once during the night to potty instead of three times 😂. They are definitely like having a baby .We wouldn't trade her for the world ❤ Jade , Jasper and Jet are so cute , they make my day 🐕🦺❤❤
@@simoneskeens6983, I have one of each. The Labrador was potty trained when I brought her home. The Shepherd took months. Lily’s my third Lab. They are really easy to potty train. Bella has gut issues and food allergies, and had diarrhea in her crate almost every night for 3 months. It was a difficult time. I highly recommend crate training. I’m so regretful that I didn’t continue it after we moved. Now she can escape from both crates in a matter of seconds. 😢 Good luck and have fun. Shepherds are hilarious. They are way too smart.
Since I adopted a purebred GSD/Ruger in Aug(he turned 3 in Oct),I too have not gone to the bathroom alone,found fur EVERYWHERE,his toys,nor needed an alarm clock(he had my schedule down w/in a week. Best addition to our family
It's funny that the first thing you talk about is how much they she'd. My GSD shed a lot, too, but the funniest part was the little tufts of fur that would project from the backs of her hind legs. They would stick out for a while before dropping. My grandmother used to like to say that my GSD's "bloomers" were showing. 😅
Love the title, “We’re German Shepherds”. It looks like you all are still living the good life. It is so obvious that your hoomans love you and you love them just as much or more. Once you all remember that mum was here before you so she knows how to handle the loo all by herself. Though she is truly grateful for the bucket of slobber puddled outside of the door, she won’t ever tell you.

I’ve always had golden retrievers, and I adore the breed. They’re wonderful dogs, BUT they are NOT loyal, lol. My dog will get into a car with anyone who feeds him. I love how loyal and devoted German shepherds are. ❤

I don’t know where the link is, but there’s a company making dog hair clothing now. I used to know a Briard (French Sheepdog) owner who wove her dog’s hair, and knitted it into things.
I am currently fostering a GSD whose owner died. My first time living with one. She is a lovely dog with typical guard dog behavior. Anyone interested? I have to find her a good home soon. Ideally her adopter has owned one before.
Depends on what state. I lost both of my girls a few years ago and am now alone and it sucks. Carly and Xena were 100lb Heidelberg/Shiloh crosses and siblings. I miss my babies... 😭
