Absolutely wonderful interview. Brad Gregory is a breath of fresh air and Father Gregory Pine (I add the last name to avoid confusion!) asked wonderful questions that elicited thoughtful answers. I encountered Brad Gregory's Salvation at Stake many years ago and have read and enjoyed The Unintended Reformation. Great job, both of you. Thanks.

Great to see and hear from Dr Gregory. I only know him through his courses wth The Teaching Company - from some time ago, but great. Glad to see him working with the Dominicans.

The title reminds one of the joke that, without the Fall, none of the amenities of civilised life would exist, as all of them are consequences of, or have been occasioned by, the entry of sin into the world. Culturally, Israel and Judah could not hold a candle to Assyria, Babylon, Egypt & Rome; even though those cultures are not fondly remembered in the Bible. No-one remembers Samaria or Jerusalem for their skill in architecture, their mathematical ability, their invention of literacy, the use of Hebrew as an international language, or their military prowess.

Trivia: Peter the Apostle is the First Pope of the Catholic Church, and St. Evodius of Antioch invented the word Christian

This guy seems to really be in favor of the molecules to man theory.
