What do you guys do when you're stuck? I got formidable first minute of my mix but i have no idea how to make the rest be good as well. I took a break, worked on different things but still cant find what to do there😢
Ps. Its a beat from yt and my vocals.

Where did the 7500 come from?

7,500 is 1/8 of 60,000. So it's a quicker way to get there. You can still divide from 60,000; however, it's going to take you a lot longer to divide & get the result you're looking for. There are 60,000 milliseconds in 1 minute. So when you divide 60,000 by the BPM, it gives you the timing you need to stay on beat. Again, 7,500 is 1/8 of 60,000 & it gets you to your number a hell of a lot quicker.

@@realisticproductionsLLC oh i meant where is the number stemming from like what is 60,000 even. not the mathmatics but what does the number represent. is 7,500 just a number you can use for all the BPMs or is it dependent on something.

@@junovue1/8 of 60,000 milliseconds. 60,000 milliseconds is 1 minute in real time. Dividing it by the BPM gives you a note value. A quarter note is x amount of milliseconds. A half note is x amount of milliseconds. An 1/8 note is x amount of milliseconds, etc. That math equation gives you exact note & rhythm values. So the timing of the start of the compression and the end of the compression are in sync with the rhythms of the beat.
Also… it’s not that deep. Just go with whatever sounds good. It may not be necessary. But I thought I would add it to the end of the video to at least let people know that it’s an option if they wanna try it. 🤷🏻‍♂️
