Thanks for posting this video. I always enjoy a close finis like this but it it is rare to see in either harness or thoroughbred racing. So seeing a triple dead heat and almost a four way dead heat is a real treat. As for people saying this is a fixed race they are crazy. No one would risk such a close finish if they were trying to fix a race.
I still have the newspaper photo of a triple dead heat at Greenwood Raceway in Toronto Canada. A near 5 way dead heat with the other two horses less than a nose (snoz) from the tape.

I wish that any woman that I ever dated IN MY ENTIRE LIFE got hyped up like that about a triple dead heat. I'd have dated her longer than 6 effing months.
I think drivers who don't whip their horse should be horsewhipped themselves. This is the reason we see dead heats because some stiff job artist who fixes all the races sets the race up that way. I've been going to the races for over 40 years and only missed a few racing dates. I like the B tracks but you can't bet the horses there because when you hit the window to bet the horse goes one to nine and stays that way 'till the bell rings... FUCK!!!
The trick is to get friendly with these drivers ( Moiseyev,Filion,Pierce ) like I did in the mid 90s at freehold raceway. I actually ran bets for them to windows.Cleaned up in 97-98.

The triple dead heat is unusual, harness racing is crooked, someone goofed up on this race.

The gist of this for the feeble-brained non horsemen is the horses or mooses always get whipped but good at the B tracks.
