I saw this race live. It was more amazing than the Jug Final that year. Cash Hall obliterated the World Record and the hapless prompter, and looked like he still had something left in the tank that afternoon. It's unfortunate that he was plagued by health problems during his racing career. He had the speed to be one of the all-time greats. First and third quarters in :27.1 .... on a half-miler. WOW!
Too bad Somebeachsomewhere couldn't have raced against the clock with a real driver like Campbell to attempt to take a horse under the 1:45 flat mark in the following years.
@BIGRED224FOREVER I think you need to be in touch with the sport. Robert McIntosh has stood for nothing but integrity in times when illegal drugs are running wild on the sport of harness racing.
i was so happy for BOB MACINTOCH a true gentalman bob has battle serious medical problem but he still keeps kicking them out year after year bob dad was a great friend of my father along with dunc campell JOHN CAMPBELL GRANDFATHER CASH HALL 151 HE BE 25000 STUD FEE
I was there that day...my first trip to the Jug...this was definitely a highlight..only thing better was Mark M winning the Jug...Cash Hall was a trotter but his sire was a pacer
the form on that horse was absolutely classical. fantastic training.. and a joy
to watch.
It is good to know that someone can still accomplish something without using illegal substances.

WOW , on a half mile track 1:51.1 for a trotter is a phenomenal performance . Amazing horse .
You go baby! AWESOME HORSE!
The Panderosa was a pacer by Western Hanover, and a damn good pacing sire- Metropolitan, P Forty Seven etc
1:51.1 to even be paced on a half mile would be something. WOW! How the heck did Cash Hall trot this fast? Insane!

Have a Time Trial competition. Allow betting up until the final horse starts.
