good job man, the first time i defeated him it took me 10 straight hours plus 2 hours after some rest, today i did a no hit run, the most rewarding boss to defeat for shure
I definitely agree I had about the same amount of time invested into the fight overall until I finally figured out what I was doing.

You can upgrade the attack power but same sword throughout the entire game

I agree I stopped playing for a while, annoyed I never beat it I came back to it on a whim
