  • Each year, National EMS Week recognizes the work of EMS clinicians. Special theme days of EMS Week help to structure the week’s activities, with Wednesday set aside for EMS for Children (EMSC) Day. Speakers shared the history of the PECC role in EMS; implementation of the PECC role in a rural EMS setting; PECC work in North Carolina, and how Louisiana has approached supporting/sustaining the EMS PECC role in their state.
