I had a similar rock bucket and it definitely worked good, but that one works amazing and it is super simple. I love that you can take it apart with pins easily and you have a bucket.
Stan, works like the FMC Preperator We used in the 90's. It had a rotating drum with teeth and a brush to opposing it to brush loose dirt thru the bucket that had holes in it. It could eat a 20+ inch rock.
Stan for you to go out and say how much you like it, probably it is because you got all kinds of crazy machines. From what I can see it is a big time saver and it works well. Stan, I think you found your dream tool for dirt work.
Hey Dirt Monkey, Great video! I've been following your site for a long time .I have a suggestion for you. Ryan doesn't know it yet but he needs you to finish his new property. This Rockaway would be a key thing to use ! He needs a retention pond built on the new property he bought .I think you are the man . He's been leveling out the new land in preparation to move VICTORY OUTDOOR SERVICES. You should call him ,I'm pretty sure you know Ryan ,anyway not sure how far you live from Victory but it could be a decent amount of work for you . Thanks for your site! Dan. (DDMAU) TAYLOR
Thats a really sweet attachment. My favorite attachment for grading is our 3-point rototiller. Becuase thats all that i got for now. Thanks for the vids💪💪💪
The "work smarter not harder" saying applies here to the Rockaway. Pretty much one or two passes and the ground is ready for seed application. Time saver and labor saver. Who can argue with that?
Stan they are basically in my back yard was just on job where another site contractor rented one worked well but as you said seems to pick up a lot of god soil withe the bad. When I use my rock hound I’ll tilt the bucket forward and just rake with teeth first all heavy material then go back over with bucket on ground and pick up remaining rocks and debris. Don’t know if that attachment is capable of doing that. But grading with a York raked and hand grading when I was younger great strides in new equipment to reduce labor 👍
Looks very similar to our FFC Preparator. Tilt your bucket 45-90 degrees and back drag just the attachment. Then you won’t fill your bucket with as much topsoil. Once you make several passes and have a debris pile formed and you can collect the rocks in the bucket.
Definitely for the king of finish grades. Otherwise I would go for a Harley/ruckus rake to get some depth and pulverization of small stuff in the seed bed. Having some lose soil for water to soak into would help with keeping the lawn watered.
looks way better then the chain ones I have run. I wish I had a job that would buy this for me as it would be awesome around my property to pluck rocks
for yard installs i use a harley rake to bust out the big rocks and really till the base ground up then i fine rake it with the rockhound and then spread screened topsoil and harley rake it again to get a perfect grade and the soils blended
I don't know who makes them, but that set-up has been around for a long time, for paving crews! The only thing that is different about this one, is the rake instead of a broom! But that is a nice set-up!
Looks like a really handy attachment. But like you said my thoughts before you said it. It would be nice if it penetrated the ground a little deeper say 1 1/2-2 inches
Only looked to be a couple inches of soft soil on top of that hard pack. Ideal to get grass going but as the root develop they’ll have nowhere to go. The hydra bucket does a better job in my opinion for hard pack. I mean you went over that area multiple times. Best set up is hydra bucket and rockhound for grading.
Sweet attachment! But there are similar attachments for half the price......also, i think this attachment should have a screened bucket to release all the unnecessarily collected soil.
Out here in the wild west, we've been using what we call a "Rockhound" for a long, long time. Maybe not the exact same roller setup but workable. Welcome to rockin Dirt Monkey
It's mid summer, and there is still no video on the New Ford and your thoughts on how it performed last winter .. I've been asking since winter ended. Is the video gonna happen or?
Should have gotten different brand, one I use with a push of the button the rake pops up and you can dump the rock immediately without getting out and removing 2 pins then unhooking the hydro hoses
Word of the day “remembery”😂
I had a similar rock bucket and it definitely worked good, but that one works amazing and it is super simple. I love that you can take it apart with pins easily and you have a bucket.
Simple and effective 🙌
Looks like it does an awesome job….
Stan your cars need to park on a concrete pad to save to underside from rotting away
Love the videos
Thank you 👊
That is almost a all in one attatchment. Nice reasonable prices also.
Right. Pretty sweet piece
What a unit
You said it
🎉I remember when you built the deck on your house 🎉....😊.. JJ.. Jonjon....
That’s awesome thanks for sticking around man!
At Lest the WINDOWS are closed on the Sardienes!!! LOL ' GO. Stanley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😂👊
New equipment! Makes for a great video!
Glad you like it as well!
Simple and it works well
Doesn’t get much better than that
I love the Rockaway and so does Brandon and Kamala. Two rockheads loving a Rockaway.

That is pretty cool.

Handy piece of kit! Does a nice job... Thanx !
Thanks for sharing. Wishing you and your family the best.

Hi Stan!! Hope you have a good weekend! Keep up the great videos! I've learned so much!
So cool to hear 👊
Might need a metal cover over the hose connection into the equipment. Some of the rocks popping out or debir could possibly puncture the lines
It's amazing. Thanks for sharing.
That thing “Rocks”. Love it bro!!
Another awesome product! Love these videos!
Glad to hear it 👊👊
here in aus we just use a spreader bar and a 4in1 bucket that grabs ahold of the bar. less material left over at the end
The "work smarter not harder" saying applies here to the Rockaway. Pretty much one or two passes and the ground is ready for seed application. Time saver and labor saver. Who can argue with that?
Yes yes and yes. 🙌
works like a rock hound bucket. That was the best attachment ever!
A ruckus rake, but so much better.
great piece of kit
The best yard finishing attachment, I've ever seen.
Agree, nice unit.
Wow that rock grader does some awesome work 👍👍👍👍👍. I need one 😊😊😊
just like a "rock hound" attachment
such an awesome attachment
We do the same thing with our Ventrac PowerRake, especially in the tighter areas between those trees for example.
Nice piece of equipment.👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
What are we waiting for?! Let’s all get one! That works great!
Looks awesome
Awesome performance
Very cool!!!! Thanks 😊
You bet!

i need one of those in my life.
That attachment is awesome
Looks like a good attachment

Good call!
definitely coulda used this last year when we were fixing up the golf course driving range
Amazing machine Stan it will make such a difference to your business good luck with it
Great content, Stan. Keep em' coming. God bless.
Thanks, will do!
looks way better then the chain ones I have run. I wish I had a job that would buy this for me as it would be awesome around my property to pluck rocks
Best one for ground clearing yet. That's ready to grow anything as it sets.
Definitely!
Awesome machine!
Gotta love it.
That's really awesome stand
for yard installs i use a harley rake to bust out the big rocks and really till the base ground up then i fine rake it with the rockhound and then spread screened topsoil and harley rake it again to get a perfect grade and the soils blended
Thanks for sharing!
You bet!
That's nice👍👍👍👊
Agreed
Great product. Is it available in Canada yet.
You should make a 40 x 40 fruit and vegetable garden
That would be sweet
Very cool!
Word for the day- Tight. 🤣
Lol yup
I don't know who makes them, but that set-up has been around for a long time, for paving crews! The only thing that is different about this one, is the rake instead of a broom! But that is a nice set-up!
that is a great attachment
Nice bit of equipment and does a good job
Regards Davy 🏴🇹🇭
Hi Stanley, great attachment buddy
Nice toy.😊
🤓👍
Stan, that would replace so many other pieces of equipment! That's a phenomenal attachment!
Exactlyyy 👊
@@Dirtmonkey Even Josh from Stoney Ridge Farm, would use it. LOL
Looks like a really handy attachment. But like you said my thoughts before you said it. It would be nice if it penetrated the ground a little deeper say 1 1/2-2 inches

Really enjoy your content
Glad to hear it
Those Cast loaders are very impressive .
I love those loaders!
Very cool
Love that the teeth are Hardox 500
I need this!
Awesomesauce video Stan!
Awesome
Yessir 👌
go buddy!
Nickname… “CoinStar” because that’s what it sounds like. 😂
A pity the bushes were already planted, would have been nice to tidy up the edges first
I would recommend this to other u-tube channels 😊😊😊
So, if your yard is in lousy shape (weeds, bumps) that attachment can make it ready for seed, right?
Probably better off going with a soil cultivator attachment.
ua-cam.com/video/uq2Vzs2u9NQ/v-deo.html
It should 👍
nice attachment
Sweet attachment! But there are similar attachments for half the price......also, i think this attachment should have a screened bucket to release all the unnecessarily collected soil.
I want one 😅. Just re do my yard.
👌

Love it!
What is the difference between this attachment and a soil conditioner?
Damnit Stanley! I bought a hydrabucket because of you and now I’m going to need one of these lol. This stuff is so much pricier in Canada 🙄
They are both worth it!
Stan keep it up
Always
Do you watch Live on Patrol every Friday night at 9:11? Live with sheriff Fletcher of Ramsey county
Went over my garden with a new rotovator and cleared out buckets of rocks, it looks like new bagged soil got dropped in there now
It's mid summer, and there is still no video on the New Ford and your thoughts on how it performed last winter .. I've been asking since winter ended. Is the video gonna happen or?
What is your fence made of?
here to help
👍
Should have gotten different brand, one I use with a push of the button the rake pops up and you can dump the rock immediately without getting out and removing 2 pins then unhooking the hydro hoses
I don't unhook anything when I dump it
hmm. how many liters/min does it need to operate? btw seems like a 2-in-1 grading/power rake
So what is the reason for the fence? Is it for the foxes? Just curious since it’s a bit uncommon in design
I hope you respond to this ,what have you seen and heard about July 26 23. Great new toy sir.😊
Yes
Do they make them for tractor loaders
How will it do dumping into a tall dump truck. Without the ability to raise the font attachment up?
Next video - redoing your shed roof/facial boards 😊
Is this not a landscape rake? Sold for decades?
8:20 Lean back!
