Dan is one of those coaches, who just gets it. Great talk and appreciate Tony for setting it up.

21:40 Tony and Dan, I volunteer coach tennis at my son's highschool. I simply want these kids to enjoy tennis and carry it long into adulthood. We are not much of a tennis school. But they are having fun and getting mildly athletic. I even bring weight equipment and rings to the courts and teach them basic push pull squat carries and hinges.

So much amazing content. The last few minutes were the best: "Making a Different". Serving is the goal. Thank you coach for this podcast.

Wasn't exactly planned, but it was very real. Dan John is one of a kind.

Lots of wisdom is one podcast. Easy strength is the Feed The Cats of lifting. Love it.

Don't be misled by the title of this podcast. It's more about life lessons than about sports. What a fantastic episode this is!

30:34 "Stay Tall" is also my #1 cue for teaching the tennis serve. Soon as they crouch or duck their heads that ball ain't making it over the net.

53:00 Tony and Dan if you haven't read it yet "The Inner Game of Tennis" is my top recommendation to all my tennis players. Not just for the tennis tips but there's also a lot of life coaching in there.

I learned about Dan John since his interview with Rippetoe back in the day. Interesting. He was a great athete and was pretty strong.

1:00:10 yes Tony. The snappy tendons and ligaments adapt slower than muscles. You're on to something.

1:02:12 oh Dan, you must have met my son's highschool basketball coach. The guy grinds players down as coach Tony warns not to do! Feel bad for my son. I don't do this to my tennis players.

How do you learn what lifts are anti rotation movements.
