I was there in 1985, one of the best countries I have been in. I am of Scottish Canadian blood and I wanted to go and see where my ancestors hailed from. The people were amazing! When they found we were from Canada they treated us like long lost friends. Grantown on Spey and Kirkcudbright were my two favorite towns, but the people everywhere made us feel so welcome. I am not sure if you are still making videos but this was wonderful!
We enjoyed Grantown on spey so much. We had a brilliant time so much to see & do and it's possible to walk into town which has a great variety of shops including a well stocked co op several fish & chip shops and bars and hotel's. We did the guided walk around the town and including the surrounding forests and the river Spey. The RBS is now closed. With sat nags they are good to get you to the towns etc but when you are looking for a specific club site, weve found the directions in the book are best! The pitch we had was elevated in the centre of the site the same as yourselves.
Great video. Got a good feeling about Grantown on spey campsite. We go later this month, hoping to see some proper winter. Visiting Aviemore, Inverness and Loch Ness, Highland Safari park, a whisky distillery and then slipping down for a couple of nights in Edinburgh. Thanks for the tour of the camp site.
Hi each, hope you're enjoying life. I don't know if it's an age thing, but I really enjoy the music that accompanies your vlogs - really uplifting tunes. I'm on a mission at the moment to view all your arriving at videos!!
I hate sat navs , much prefer road maps, then you can only blame the navigator, Jenny ! Have you caught up with the days yet, today is Sunday ?. This site is more like the ones we like, all facilities on tap. Is the site far from the town centre, or is it a bus ride ?We liked Grantown on Spey when we stayed B&B in the seventies.
Love Grantown-on-Spey! My favourite place in Scotland. Had so many lovely holidays there. Haven’t been back for 20 years unfortunately. One day I will take my kids there! Very interesting video!
Please tell me why you stopped as you put it . at a mega Tesco supermarket in Inverness for your food shopping !? .For god sake you are going to Grantown on Spey, which has local shopping . Meaning a great local butchers, bakers and its own supermarket. when you go to these beautiful places in Scotland or anywhere else, support the people that's made these places a pleasure to visit.
Only because we could park our motorhome in the car park. We did go into Grantown on Spey the following day, in the shops and a very nice Hotel as I remember. Couldn't visit the butchers though as we vegetarian. :-)
Every time you do the 'bathroom walk' with your camera Bob I keep expecting you to walk in on someone using the facilities!! You do know that in Scotland that there is a Peeping Tom Law and you could be sent off to the Colonies for 6 years LOL

Thanks, we liked the site too, it's a 10 minute into the town. We arrived at Grantown on Thursday, so we're a bit confused what day we are on!
