Great to meet up with you guys at the Durnoch holiday park. we hope you got off the grass pitch ok? we are back at home now having completed the NC500 last week so have started catching up with all your videos and are up to the "Falkirk wheel" video. Loved the Parody one, brilliant. Not seen any drone footage yet Stuart but are remaining hopeful lol. Keep living the dream guys and hopefully we will bump into each other again in the future. Sharon and Syd.
Not sure why this popped up in my feed! It is called Grantown on Spey and Grantown on Spey and is in the REGION known as Speyside (Speyside runs from Grantown on Spey to Spey Bay on the Moray coast). The little beach where you parked up is where all the kids go to swim in the river during the summer. Also, the Cock Bridge / Bridge of Brown route is the usual route from Deeside (The towns along the river Dee - Braemar / Ballater / Aboyne, etc.) to Speyside. The trick for anyone driving an older vehicle or a truck is to take a bit of a run-up, so please don't be concerned if you are reading this. Also, The Bridge of Brown road (very steep at the hairpin) is narrow, but not really a single track. Oh, and finally, if you had turned right at 11:20 it would have been a decent shortcut to the A9 for Inverness - and perfectly flat ;) Great vid - thanks guys!
Thank you for taking the time to add some more information. I'm sure that route is fine for most people - we really struggled! and thanks for tip about the short-cut. Cheers!
What a journey 😮

Got off the pitch first time ;-) Hope you enjoyed the 500. We're still in the Highlands! Great to meet you and thanks for remembering us and watching.
We went up a 20% small road in Dorset and our poor van really, really struggled. Well done guys for tacking this route.
Thought it was just our old van tbh. We actually spent a couple of hours planning a route to avoid the steep hills, and then did it anyway lol!
What a nightmare!
