- For many, the age-old traditional kanji and pazhaya sadham is the most sought-after dish for more reasons than one. Firstly, it is effortless to dish out. Secondly, it is loaded with probiotic bacteria which gained significance during the Covid-19 pandemic.
American Nutrition Association says that the previous day's soaked rice dish like pazhaya soru is one of the many healthy dishes for breakfast.
Pazhaya sadham was the staple diet in Tamilnadu and Kerala long ago as people have recognized the pazhaya soru benefits for problems like weight loss and constipation.

I'm vata pitta dual constitution. Suffering with eczema quite long period of time. Consuming this fermented rice doesn't rise pitta dosha. Please advise.
