Took my friend through VOG for his first raid and first time the other day. He got Vex. Took my gf through VOG for her 3rd time. She got vex. I’ve been playing since a little after the dark below expansion. No vex in D1. No vex in D2. It’s the weekly raid this week and Atheon/vex is farmable. Wish me luck boys.

Some British guy got super ticked off I did and was trying to guilt trip me into not leaving which I wasn’t gonna do anyway for another few runs out of respect. Then the British guy never got the gun but he ended up complaining every single run about how tired and p*ssed he was and then rage quit like 30 mins later. Don’t know what his deal was. After that everyone left

My RNG is usally on the get FK'd side of things, 79 clears for vex, dont even know what my VOW count is, no Collective, same situation with Kings Fall and Touch.. Its like i got 1k on my 1st ever run and that cashed in my RNG for years, then Root came & think it was my 5 clear & got Conditional, now im fully expecting it to be years for the rest to come... Meanwhile my brother, who enjoys Destiny, but is 1 I usually drag into raids, teach & carry: Vex on 2nd, Collective on 1st, Touch on 1st & Conditional on 2nd... FML
Got Vex on my 15th run, got catalyst on my 16th...only for it to be nerfed about a week after. Haven't played since. Haven't played WQ and still on the fence if I should come back for Lightfall. I think I've come to terms with the fact that I just gotta be a fan from a distance. Hilarious video btw

Only one I had bad RNG on was TOM so I after 20 clears I just got from pantheon instead. Now dungeons on the other hand… fuck those things. I haven’t gotten a single drop since Duality and I’ve tan each a ton of times (except spire). No heartshadow, no Navigator, no Warlords Ruin. I’m fed up.
I clear VoG so many times during d2 to get it and FINALLY experience it in its most powerful state at the time. I missed that opportunity back in d1, it didnt drop for me after 50 clears and then it got nerfed. I dont touch VoG anymore and never will Im fed up with the drop system.
@@thrilla72 if you got it in season 15 or any season before this one you had a really good pvp weapon sure in pve it became trash in witch queen when it didn't get the 40% buff all other exotic primaries got but it was still amazing in pvp until this season
I did that for d1 and never got vex ever in d1 and i grinded every week of d1 lifespan to never get it lucky my luck changed in d2 got it in 12 tries so i know the pain😢
I got the Mythoclast first clear... too bad it's such an arse exotic. I was so disappointed by how it wasn't buffed in any meaningful way with solar 3.0, doesnt apply scorch hence no ignition. Here's hoping Bungie gives it an overhaul.

What I find annoying about the whole "done the raid A BUNCH and still no exotic" situation is that when you talk to people about it you either get the "oh shit that many times and still no exotic? Damn, that sucks" but you also get the "what the fuck, bro, you done this raid 200 times and still no exotic? How is that possible??" with a sort of accusatory tone as if you had fuck all to do with the RNG that governs the drops.

Then you have ppl like Fallout (which I watch and dig his videos) but he made a comment that he is on some streak of receiving the raid / dungeon exotic on his first run, for a long time now, that he even called it a streak,. OK, so one of the top weapon review youtubers just happens to get the exotic to drop, on his first run? For would be suspicious, but 4,5? 6? C'mon, Bungie........ain't no way.

I've got 2 clanmates who did over 500 runs to get vex and 1 clanmate that had to do over 300 runs. They farmed it when it was in rotation.

Took me over 25 clears to get Vex but only 3 to get Conditional finality and Collective obligation.
