No it won't!
He is one of many
40 Months Ha! What a JOKE SHOULD HAVE BEEN 15 TO 20 YEARS.
40 months for over one million now we have to investigate the judge 😳😳😳😳😳😳😂😂😂😂😂😂
"I'm truly sorry for my actions and I made a big mistake". . . . . .272 checks. . . . . . 😆😂🤣😭.
He says he's sorry and embarrassed?? He is not sorry for the crime that he committed. He is sorry that he was caught. Once again, the courts hand out out a lenient sentence which does very little to deter such greed. How will his victims be made whole?
Made whole? Tf
What about a Fine?? Did he have to re-pay??
I'll do 4 years for a couple million.
Where do I sign up
If you mean restitution that's the biggest scam in the land only because it's usually the Judge idea. The perp pretends to pay and the court pretends punishment
@@howlinwulf40
months = only 3 years and 4 months.
@@howlinwulf There are definitely better ways to make a couple million in 4 years.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS ! This clown didn't make a mistake in stealing over 270 checks on multiple occasions. He really did deserve at least 10 years in prison straight time - with no parole.....And that Judge should be sentenced to the same 40 months for such a stupid sentence to this repeat offender🧐
Why is he free to walk around? What in the world?!!
He stole
No blood was spilled
The companies should be helped by the post office or somebody .. its federally backed right ?
Why they don’t give the money back or a portion ? It was lost on their terms right ? By their employers ?
He needs to pay back all that money! Thief! Should’ve gone to jail at least 10 years!
They should make him pay restitution to all of those businesses.
He got off too easily!!!
🤨
Seriously 40 months it should have been 20 years Federal Prison.
Crime isn’t punishable by law anymore those days are gone .
@@k.m.h7480 look at trump for example.
tried to overthrow a country and worked directly with known enemies.
you can thank the gop for destroying justice
And it won't even be 40 months... he will be out after 32.
@@jonathantaylor6926are you white because I can see you mad
I agree it should be 20 years but then it would need to be 20 years for Elizabeth Holmes too.
Why should he get leniency?! Absolutely not!!
It’s because he’s one of the victim class. If he’d been white! 40 years!
Because he’s black that’s why and if he got a shit ton of prison time, we’d be hearing how the judge was racist . .
How do you know he does not still have the money?
I lived within blocks of this post office but I refused to use it. If there was criminals working there who’s to say there weren’t criminals that are still there. This guy should have gotten way more time.
How is it fair that someone could face years in jail for stealing a $20 item from Walmart, while another person gets only 40 months for stealing $1.7 million?
As a retired postal worker this is sickening..he deserves much more took advantage of his postion to hurt others!
Shame may God Bless the business that were impacted..
Always report missing mail it will raise flags ..and help them to find the unlawful activity ..
And the sad part is as manager he would have to be vested to even be in that position so he'll still get his pension.
Dude's greed was his downfall! I mean stealing one check is even wrong.
Why such a light sentence?
The judge needs checking out! For all we know, he may have given him such a light sentence for a serious prolific career criminal, because he's doing him a quid pro favour? Perhaps, 'He's The Judge" who helps Corrupt Postal Staff get off?
Black privilege 😂
Brack
Black privilege.
first time offender maybe ? these get lighter sentences at judges discretion.
40 months, what a joke.
He DEFINITELY KNEW BETTER!!!!
Should've got 40 YEARS!!!
Wow 40 months is not enough. Should be longer 10 years
No leniency! As a postal worker he knew what he was doing is a federal crime! He jeoparrdized other people's lives when they didn't get their checks needed to pay bills, mortgages, food, utilities, etc.! No mercy!
272 checks? For 1.7 mill? Yeah right to no jail time.
40 MONTHS IS A JOKE, WHAT HAPPENED TO 30 YRS?
This man broke a centuries old public trust. His actions created such a domino effect of chaos for businesses and the general public who rely on the postal service & other postal employees who are trustworthy.
Kind of makes you wonder about the mail in voting? is there a potential for fraud there?
Not at all. It's super duper safe.
100%
If a postal worker will jeopardize a job with a decent salary and awesome benefits, imagine what some poll worker might be willing to do.
It's been plenty of your fellow republicans that are poll workers busted for election fraud and your hero Trump encouraged them to 'find ballots' in Georgia and other states!
Yes the one's who would create alternate electors to not have people votes counted but who they want the president to be selected not elected.
it was impossible to get away with it and the cashers of the checks guilty and will be caught they had the numbers and routing numbers evn though they were cashed
the victims must ahve been shocked it was a worker not a non worker doing this and the businesses couldnt pay their bills we use efile for alot of things i guess aone time check made sense
the irs thiefs dont hurt anyone like a private business this was blatant it seems like a big unbelievable it was a worker everything was traceable even though the checks were altered a bank account was used w routing numbers and acc numbers back to the person who sent the check
Finally a community where everyone is perfect and have never made stupid choices. Love it here.
Never, ever trust these people
Who is these people ?
@@missbc64 Blacks of course
Thieving Blacks as identified in the news story?
Yeah, postal workers are the worst of our population!🥴🤡
All these people are not the same sir..
He should've gotten more time
He need 10 years
7 years is what he should have got. He'll be out in two years
