One Tree Hill - 9x07 "Last Known Surroundings" Lucas & Haley Deleted Scene

I just love love this scene, made me so emotional. They were best friends and loved each other so much. Joy and Chad had such great chemistry as friends. I missed this friendship in the last few seasons.
Should have kept the scene. The journey started with those 2 as best friends, and the journey should have ended like that as well. Would have added a whole of heartwarming emotion to an emotionally charged episode and season. Knowing what we know now, I cant blame Hilarie Burton for not coming back. But series finale felt empty without Chad as Lucas and Hilarie as Peyton.
I love this friendship so much. I wish they didn't delete this.
This just proves that there WAS a possibility of Peyton/Hilarie and Lucas/Chad coming back. I guess as time went on Mark Schwan realised their schedules (Hilarie had just had her baby and Chad was shooting for the haunted house in connecticut 2) collided, therefore had to unfortunately come to a conclusion that they were in fact not going to be able to come back. If he had put this scene in, it would've gave hope to fans, that there was hope for Leyton to return - I guess he didn't want to be the one to crush that 'hope' fans would've held on to. I still wish til this day, that Peyton, Lucas and Sawyer could've come back. Maybe just for the finale even? I guess it's time I accept it and move on, and actually be happy that even though it isn't in Tree Hill, my OTP did in fact get their happy ending. 😔
Prob didn't help that Hillary hated Mark lol
n - the reason the two didn’t come back is because they were tired of the treatment against them. especially hilarie. she was harassed daily by mark.
As much as it would've been nice to have more with them, like a scene or episode where they come back to Tree Hill. I am honestly so glad they didn't. Hilarie didn't deserve to have to go through what she did on that set. None of the women did. So I'm glad she decided not to come back and put herself in that position. That may sound like I'm blaming the for "putting themselves in that position" but I'm not. It was in no way their fault. I'm just saying, she got away, it would've hurt her a lot to go back... :(
