this is honestly such an emotional scene. watching nathan's character development throughout the seasons was very admirable.while nathan was growing up dan had only expectations from him and he was basically living his teenage life inside of nathan. everything changed when he met haley. haley taught him so many things about life and made him realise that not everything is about basketball and the party life.
Jamie was just trying to keep that Scott basketball legacy alive in Tree Hill. Which he did by being the all time leading scorer and breaking all his father records. Defintley a nice father son moment between Nathan and Jamie
Nathan was the best and hottest father! I absolutely loved watching Nathan’s character development from season 1. He had the most defined character arc out of all the characters which was overcoming generational trauma to become a great man, husband and father. He basically followed in his father’s footsteps (the basketball star, a teenage husband & father, possible career ending injury and an early retirement) but he succeeded in all those areas where Dan failed miserably. It was truly some great character writing and James Lafferty was amazing in the role. It was great watching a 17 yr old James sort of come of age and mature on screen just like his character over 9 years.
This show definitely going to come back season 9 sets up for ONE TREE HILL NEXT GENERATION we all have a story to tell we heard the story of Lucas and Peyton the amazing journey of Nathan and Haley and the destined love for Clay and Quinn now it's time for James Lucas Scott to tell his story his life in Tree Hill. I'm writing a pilot for a new series if someone doesn't beat me to it u know it's going to happen.
That’s true considering Jamie was Nathan’s son who’s last name is Scott people did expect him to be good just like how they also knew Nathan was good knowing he was Dan’s son and also same went for Lucas too
