KaaaaaaTaaaaaDin. Ayuh. When the first Europeans saw the mountain, they pointed and marveled. Their native guide said "Katahdin". Later it was learned that the word roughly translates from Abenaki dialect as 'F*ck that', but not before they had marked it on a bunch of survey maps. P.S. Fake news :D.
Years ago I bought one in .50 caliber in muzzle loader. It came with a conservative muzzle break.I decided to go heavy with brown laminate stock.I can only describe it as very consistent. It loves a bonded 250 shockwave with a long black hornady sabot and it likes a 300 grain hornady 45 caliber magnum hollow point and big black hornady sabot. I always take 2 muzzle loaders when I go hunting. Its obviously the best way to hunt.My second shot takes 2 seconds instead of 2 minutes. It seems hard for hunters to understand this method
Personally I would buy the Encore pistol alone with the carbine barrel of your choice and stock with for end. You’ll have two guns in one and it’s perfectly legal converting a pistol into a rifle, but NOT a rifle into a pistol
Swap either back and forth, just dont put a frame together (rifle stock) and shorter than 16" barrel...turns into a SBR. Frame with pistol grips and 22" barrel is OK.
According to the manufacture, Thompson Center Arms quite a few years back it was settled with the ATF that is you purchased just a pistol frame you could legally add a barrel Over 20 inches and a stock and be legal and then remove the stock and then the barrel and replace the barrel with anything under 15 inches and a pistol grip and you were legal.
Named after a Mountian in Maine. It means greatest mountian. You say it Kah-tah-din. Cant wait to buy one

@Blue Dragon yeah, and its not too easy in the summer either.
Nice Encore setup. Seems perfect for a stalking or brush rifle.
