I tested the Stark one month ago on Istra Croatia in hardenduro conditions. It's the best bike I've ever ridden. For me the time of 2 and 4 strokes are gone. A 4hours tour was no battery problem.
A problem I can see with the stark especially when you were going up that sandy hill is just the large amount of torque just digs holes and loses traction in loose terrain.
@CollinOtten You see, now that's the greatest, thing about drive operated electric motors right there. You can have just the right amount of torque when needed. Now try doing that with a traditional dirtbike !!
No, even 30hp are enough for enduro riding. In the full power mode on asphalt roads you drain the battery very fast. The 520 chain is too weak for the full torque on a grippy ground.
Whenever I get passed by one on the track it scares the shit out of me because not only can you not hear them but you can look behind you one section and they are far away then suddenly they are on your ass 😂 they are so ridiculously fast it’s crazy
Hey Collin I been riding Crotch Rockets my whole life I'm 56 and now I have a Stealth Bomber 8000kw motor with a Fardriver controller my Bomber does 85mph with the tune i have on it right now but i sure would love to test ride a Stark Varg 80hp. I believe if I was able to do that I would fall in love with one i would love to put some Super moto wheels on it for the road do to not having a track near by. I'm sure i could find some trails though. Thanks for the video really enjoyed watching it ride safe buddy.

@@CollinOtten Sounds great! While I’ve been motorcycling longer, I actually have more saddle time mountain biking. and I set up my brakes “moto” from day one, on every bicycle. The transition should be seamless. 17 thumbs up 👍
White plastics = Mr Clean Magic Eraser. Only way to keep them anywhere near new looking. You have to scrub the entire bike after every ride. I have a white Husqvarna and I live where there is red dirt. Bad combo.

Funny you noticed the front brake cable catching the front number plate. That was one of the first things I noticed, but nobody else has mentioned it. I too pick up on minute shit like that.
@@CollinOtten Actually I've notice it, too, the first day of riding and I've solved the issue by switching the positions of the brake lines. I've also just posted this in the Electric Dirt Riders forum, referring to your video (I hope it's not a problem).

Even with a loud motor they will still jump in your line and it is never their fault it is always your responsibility as the rider in the back to make a safe and intelligent bike and in moto there is no right of way or courtesy to let someone pass.

One reason I can say don't buy this bike is because I've watched many videos where the battery goes dead about an hour into riding in sand and then the guy on the 450 still has three quarters of a tank of gas and ends up having to help get the electric bike back to the truck these bikes are very cool very fast but they are not made for normal use I would rather see them make it with a tops of 50 horsepower but be able to ride for more than an hour rather have half the power twice the distance

Same. I have a KTM 300 2T and Yam 450 4T and my Stark is better than both of them. 3 things I don't like 1. kickstand is lousy, 2.plastic inner tubes aren't very durable, and 3. gear oil plug is poorly machined.

So if you wanna resell the bike i bet its not easy because no sane person will buy a used bike for about 10k and then have to invest nearly the same for a new battery after a few rides. 😅 if they get the battery Price to about 2k it would make sense maybe but for now its just for people that dont mind burning their money away.

Ya it has regenerative braking, so you can make it as strong or as weak as you want it! Everything about how the bike feels/rides is customizable.

If you swap the brake line orientation around and run the front brake hose behind the rear it wont make that clicking noise.
