This is one of my favorite kitchens you visit. It’s a well organized machine and this chef is tremendous. I also enjoy the other chef I’ve seen cooking here. Just terrific!
Indian restaurants should offer apprenticeships to learn the cooking its an art in itself and could be the basis for a great start in food for interested individuals.
Solid stuff ,you know why? Because the chef is actually using the spices separately for each individual dishes according to there taste,normally you wouldn’t see that in many Indian restaurants,they use a mixed up spice that is used in all dishes !!that’s why you get the different spice flavours coming through ,it’s authentic.and it should be done like this in all restaurants alike,and yes a very calm environment too,because the front staff are not rushing in the orders,that’s a good team work there.(could be for camera show ,I don’t know?but that’s how it should be)
Simply mesmerising. The cook and tandoori maste are real experts .So many yummy dishes prepared with so much of ease by deft and smooth movements of entire kitchen staff is a feast to eyes .
I suppose the chef could just open packets of ready-made sauces each time and warm them up but that isn't cooking is it? I think the full restaurant out front speaks for itself. In Leicester the competition is enormous and the chefs are highly prized. A change of chef can damage the business.
