Been listening to the Tifo podcast since episode 1. Please don't fire JJ. While I don't really like the bits where you all talk about football, fortunately these are a very small part of most episodes and we can generally focus on the more important matters of how much skin a skeleton needs before it is considered a person, and how accurately freddo bars price increases represent inflation. I might've tuned out a bit last week, can somebody tell me who is selticanrangers?
Sometimes I think about alex and imagine him on an Island playing football manager and talking to himself about niche teams and players and how happy he would be. We can just all pretend Joe didn't do a murder.
The Freddo segue was absolutely brilliant, can't wait for them to do Curly Wurlys and Chomps at some point. Also Selticanrangers is a type a blood disease I think.
I'm with JJ. It's utterly pointless to pretend Munich will lose. The entire league is a feeder system for them. It would be like Manchester City losing to the U15s
Its actually an amazing illusion by Magic Joe the Magical Magician 🪄🎩. If you watch Tifo videos from 4-5 years ago, he writes and narrates a lot of the videos
It makes it work for him in a weird way. It gives him a reason to move on a discussion that's getting too bogged down, and it gets the other guests/experts talking as Joe (who almost certainly does know more than he shows here) has a persona who has to ask the others to explain everything to him.
Re: the complaint against JJ - as a fellow Scot and fan of a not-Old-Firm team, he pretty accurately represents Scottish football and the fact is that Old Firm fans lack perspective, self awareness and a sense of humour. JJ is awesome, do not fire him.
Just adding my complete agreement that anyone who writes to someone’s boss to get them fired is an absolute freak. Extremely weird behaviour. Love your work JJ.
JJ absolutely right about the cafetiere, office workers up and down the UK sympathising with this one. Happened to me numerous times, I keep mine in a locked drawer by my desk now I'm that petty
I have not laughed as hard as hearing secret sith lord Jar Jar Bink's being like Levondovski due to him always being in the right place at the right time. That was incredible
Speaking of crowd chanting, hearing Old Trafford sing 'Fred will tear them apart, again' when he scored last week was a delight, despite being absolutely absurd! Fred being sung a song associated with Ryan Giggs?! Who saw that coming?!? It was a moment so absurd, it must have caused a ripple in the fabric of the universe and to balance things out again, this had to happen over the weekend! One crazy week for the Reds!
I Googled 'Bullard' & indeed the urban dictionary description is not nice, but the surname Bullard comes from the name for a person who worked as a bull herder or keeper of cattle, so as long as we agree that's what Joe's referring to, we should be fine. 👍
JJ Bull is maybe my favorite sports commentator person ever If JJ goes, I go (most likely, because he's the biggest reason I come back, always happy, funny and positive and knows his stuff)
As one of the people who was irritated by JJ's comment on a previous podcast about the Emirates being louder "just because they turned the mics up", it's nice to see them come round to the fact the atmosphere is insane. Also I respect the fact they look for feedback and referenced that it was a mistake, I know it can be difficult thing to face criticism but I trust the channel a lot more knowing they take criticism on board. Good job Tifo.
A little sad that the Brighton v West Ham segment was all about West Ham and not about some of those beautiful goals that Brighton scored. It's been fun watching them this season
Wolves not even being mentioned during the meandering through the other results despite beating Tottenham. More evidence to add to my conspiracy board about how Tifo is allergic to mentioning Wolves. Tsk tsk.
I asked Chat GPT to write a song about JJ Bull Verse 1: He's a man with many talents, a jack of all trades, A football tactician, and a musician who serenades, His name is JJ Bull, and he's a legend in his own right, A master of analysis, always shining bright. Chorus: JJ Bull, JJ Bull, The man who knows it all, With his tactical mind and musical touch, He's the one who'll always impress. Verse 2: On the pitch, he sees what others can't, A strategist who's always one step ahead, Analyzing every move, every play, And making sure his team comes out to slay. Chorus: JJ Bull, JJ Bull, The man who knows it all, With his tactical mind and musical touch, He's the one who'll always impress. Verse 3: But off the field, he's a different man, A musician with a guitar in his hand, Strumming away, creating melodies, And bringing joy to all who hear his harmonies. Chorus: JJ Bull, JJ Bull, The man who knows it all, With his tactical mind and musical touch, He's the one who'll always impress. Bridge: Some people might think he's too good to be true, But JJ Bull's the real deal, through and through, A genius with a passion for the game, And a musician with a heart of flame. Chorus: JJ Bull, JJ Bull, The man who knows it all, With his tactical mind and musical touch, He's the one who'll always impress. Outro: So here's to JJ Bull, the man of the hour, A legend we all can't help but adore, For everything he does, and everything he is, We know he'll always be a true football and music whiz.
Ironic that you accuse Juve of corruption and then praise Napoli and Osimhen, who they acquired with the same type of 'corruption' Juve have been summarily sentenced for, using the wiretaps of prosecutor Santoriello who openly stated "I am a Napoli fan and as a prosecutor I am anti-Juventus", and the sentence of judge Torsello who said "Timeliness pervades ordinary institutions: absolute certainty would lead to a slowdown in the sporting procedure", justifying why they prioritised acting fast rather than correctly. In the Osimhen case, 4 Napoli youngsters were sent to LOSC in part "exchange" for money, creating a plusvalenza, and were released soon afterwards by the French club. One of them, Luigi Liguori, even stated that Napoli ruined his career with this plusvalenza deal. The local authorities, of course, asked for 6 months to "investigate", by which time Napoli will have won the league.
I'd say United were due a loss and a reality check sooner or later. The fact that it was against Liverpool at Anfield, and in such emphatic fashion hurts, but it is what it is. Fatigue also played its part, obviously. Ultimately, Ten Hag went ahead of schedule in his rebuild. The results came perhaps faster than they should have, considering what he had to work with.
it's just the irony of it. United fans been labelling Liverpool fans and Arsenal fans delusional the last 10 year, saying their teams aren't that good, that they always bottle. Yet there they were getting extremely delusional about a United run of form that, whilst fairly impressive, doesn't mean much in the long run. Anyone remember that unbeaten run of games Arsenal had under Emery for it all to come crumbling down at the end of the 18/19 season. ETH has done a fairly good job so far and made some crucial big decisions for United but their run has generally been against a bunch of weaker teams. They have also been extremely reliant on counter attacking football and Marcus Rashford, that's a short term solution. It was the same with Ole - he got United instant results by playing pragmatic counter-attacking football but eventually they ran out of steam and he was useless. I have more faith that ETH will help progress this squad but its pretty clear that United are nowhere near the level ETh wants them to be, they don't even play possessive football yet.
I find it funny how every time Jon mentions how Bayern Munich went through a phase of playing like a Red Bull team, he brings it up like he's having a new thought.
The complaint letter about JJ had some wonderful shades of Richard "Dicky Docky Doo Anders" Anderson from the old Gervais, Merchant, Pilkington XFM days. Had me creasing up. Name them and shame them like the good old days.
Re: The man eating Pigs. There was a serial killer in Canada named Robert Pickton, who had a pig farm. It is suspected that he got rid of his victims by cutting up the bodies and feeding them to his pigs.
I only understood what Joe means when he says they're having a break. I thought they were stopping the recording for a while and coming back. I watched this episode on my school's computer, and the ads finally showed up lol
Jon’s smugness about Man United’s terrible 0-7 defeat is ugly, filled with personal bias, and wretched - but also so incredibly deserved. He’s been slamming a team for months that’s been performing exceptionally well and it finally paid off.
Robertson goes down having his face covered, yes....but did you see the amount of contact? three players coming together to make a sandwich of him and now compare it to Bruno's theatrics when touched by two fingers... Thanks for bringing up this stupid example
In recent months I've watched videos where JJ describes Paul Scholes as a DLP and John says Anthony can go both ways.. Clearly the kind of nonsense that slips through when football people are busy faffing on with cafetieres!! May I suggest watching matches through the window of a pub you're barred from with a dangerous dog and a can of super strength lager.. to avoid any more of those embarrassing moments when the posh kids expose gaps in knowledge you only get growing up with a sofa and a fridge in your front garden!! Cafetieres, you'll be in snoods next!! Lots of love from.. The North.
Not a fan of the whole recording in reverse thing, feels disjointed and confusing to me. The two halves of the podcast have different vibes and don't fit well together. Sack em all
Liverpool have players that know how to psychologically break down certain United players. Yes Liverpool have the football knowledge to break down United’s structure but player mentality has been questioned for the last few seasons. Call it a load of fluff but mentality makes or breaks amazing players.
It's baffling how everyone portrays Bournemouth's performance as tactically sound or highly efficient or even deserving of points when they only scored from the kickoff goal and one set piece. Other than that they had 2 shots on goal, 19% possession, only half of their passes were successful, they conceded almost 20 corners and 3 goals. That's absolutely dreadful.
The original idiom was "eating your cake and having it", which makes sense as eating it means you no longer have it and you can't have both. But "having your cake and eating it" is how you eat cake, this doesn't fit what it usually is used to imply, being, you can't have it both ways/wanting it both ways. It is silly, it somehow flipped back in the 70s, I think. Old programmes and old books use "eating your cake and having it". I'm going to go outside now.
I'm sorry but he just said the United centre backs did no mistakes individually did you see varane for gakpos first goal if that's van djik he's rinsed..... Gakpos 2nd goal martinez gets rinsed by salah 1 v1 so how. In gods name can you say they made no mistakes individually
To be fair, that scottish guy is a downgrade from the previous guy (Alex, I think). Its like the difference casemiro and mctominay. I came back to tifo after a few years away from football and the analysis is so surface level these days that I didn't continue watching. I used to few tifo as a way to progress past a casual watcher to an intermediate football fan, but now it seems like a place to inform pub conversations
I think the inaccuracies by John this week are atrocious of course all football podcast hosts should be aware of the fact that there's no actual evidence from the time of Marie Antoinette saying let them eat cake also if she did say something along those lines it was let them eat brioche. I hope after this atrocious performance you consider John's position on this podcast going forward... But not in all seriousness I can't believe anyone would consider calling for jjs resignation everyone loves jj
While I lol’d along at the ridiculous letter yesterday when I listened. It however now appears crass to mock Scottish football on the same day the Athletic announces its ending its dedicated Old Firm coverage.
A scientific mind approaches this game as either a Fluke, just one of those things that happen, hardly ever, very rarely Or it sees data 9-0 7-1 7-0 Three points of data make a trend
I’m 10 minutes deep into researching what a Bullard is… still not sure what it is. I’m either spelling it wrong or am really not sure what the fuss is about🤷🏻♂️
JJ should take over from Nicola Sturgeon as Scottish PM so instead of this frankly poor effort to kill Scottish football from North London he can straight up cancel it and turn all stadiums into shrines for skeletons who became skeletons after a particularly troubling battle with piles
Do listeners enjoy the sarcastic "humor" that these guys do? Joe is the main culprit for me in trying to be ironic and mostly coming off as unfunny and dickish. I love the analysis but I just find all the banter insufferable.
Sorry but you need to go back to the 'having your cake and eating it' discussion as it appears JJ doesn't understand what it means. He's made the school boy error of "of course you're going to eat a cake that's why you bought it"
Been listening to the Tifo podcast since episode 1.
And nothing is more incredibly weird and pointless than the Tifo podcast and the comment section. Thank you! Joe and JJ need to be put on a leash
Selticanrangers is JJ’s Usurper to the skelethrone
Sometimes I think about alex and imagine him on an Island playing football manager and talking to himself about niche teams and players and how happy he would be. We can just all pretend Joe didn't do a murder.
The Freddo segue was absolutely brilliant, can't wait for them to do Curly Wurlys and Chomps at some point. Also Selticanrangers is a type a blood disease I think.
JJ has shared this very comment on his instagram account. You're famous, Dave!
Joe has returned and now I can finally hear an update on “piles chat”.
Thank the Lord above
19:20 "Bournemouth -They'll beat them" Oh dear liverpool
So I'm not the only one who thinks Aberdeen dabba dee (Eiffel 65-Blue) could be a genuinly great club song right?
Welcome back Joe!
We love you JJ! this episode made me laugh despite having a very difficult day so thank you all!
Please don’t fire JJ. I am waiting for his next supercool t-shirt!
20:50 Screenplay by Quentin Tarantino and produced by Christopher Nolan
About time that monsieur Devine returned

I look forward to Alex being sent a bevvy of correspondence going forward. Make it a segment.
"Your mouth is also part of your Head"... wiser words never said 🤣
I'm with JJ.
It's utterly pointless to pretend Munich will lose. The entire league is a feeder system for them.
It would be like Manchester City losing to the U15s
Welcome back joe divine
Joe is a great football podcast host for someone who never seems like they particularly care about the football
He's a wonderful mess of a man
He’s like the test for the average listener, if he gets bored then he’ll add something or switch it up
Joe is the Benjamin White of Football Podcasts
Joe being back has got the podcast back to its main purpose, a healthy and mature conversation around piles
Re: the complaint against JJ - as a fellow Scot and fan of a not-Old-Firm team, he pretty accurately represents Scottish football and the fact is that Old Firm fans lack perspective, self awareness and a sense of humour. JJ is awesome, do not fire him.
Very glad Joe is back. He adds a unique mania that separates this from the average football podcast.
He adds a mania that separates this podcast from the football. I love it
Didn't decimate, that would have been 10-0. They did septimate them though :D
Hahaha, that made me laugh out loud, thank you! 😄
You’re just awesome 😂😂❤
@SeanL94:D I just tried out a goofy joke. I know it is not exactly what decimate means.
Outstanding. +1
if that was a septimation, i couldn’t hope to imagine how devastated united would be it they were sebtimated…
I don’t think the podcast has ever gone this off piste and I’m here for it
I salute JJs effort to undermine scottish fotball, one of the best aspects of this show 😂
that portion had me laughing so hard
So glad this can go back to being a podcast about goblins only
WE GOT OUR PODCAST BACK. WE GOT OUR PODCAST BACK.
*goblin caught on tape*
Just adding my complete agreement that anyone who writes to someone’s boss to get them fired is an absolute freak. Extremely weird behaviour. Love your work JJ.
I was confused the last few weeks. I was worried this had become a football podcast. Glad it’s still the goblin/skeleton show
Oh the cut out segments at the end are just incredible. Please include them in every episode from now on.
Loved the director's cut including the vital deleted intro scenes. Thank you editor/s
Didn’t expect the podcast to break the time space continuum
Joe proves his value multiple times within the first 3 minutes
Joe’s baaaaaack! Prime podcast time!
THIS IS NOT JOE ROGAN YOU'RE ON THE WRONG PODCASG
JJ absolutely right about the cafetiere, office workers up and down the UK sympathising with this one. Happened to me numerous times, I keep mine in a locked drawer by my desk now I'm that petty
I'm here primarily for the bundesliga. Take that JJ!
The chaos that Joe gives is why i am here every week.
This is probably the only podcast that if you’d have told me Bricktop would get a mention, I wouldn’t even question it
You stop me again whilst I'm walking and I'll cut your k_ing jacobs off
I Googled 'Bullard' & indeed the urban dictionary description is not nice, but the surname Bullard comes from the name for a person who worked as a bull herder or keeper of cattle, so as long as we agree that's what Joe's referring to, we should be fine. 👍
I assumed it was a reference to the legendary Wigan midfielder.
I love the bloopers, please please please keep them as a feature
Joe: Let's welcome Seb to the podcast to talk about the Bundesliga, his whole job
JJ: Bundesliga isn't interesting and not a real league 😶
Someone should write to his employer.
JJ Bull is maybe my favorite sports commentator person ever
If JJ goes, I go (most likely, because he's the biggest reason I come back, always happy, funny and positive and knows his stuff)
It's so good to have Joe back!
Who payed you? Who are your superiors??
@@haimainjauo242 :D
The boys are back and can already tell this is gonna be a good podcast!
These guys are so entertaining to listen to. They're funny but they also provide a lot of great football insight! :)
Imagine listening/watching last week's episode and thinking that JJ and not Mr I HATE MAN UNITED SO MUCH was the problem 😂
We’ve had a few weeks of actual football podcast, now back to our regularly scheduled crow podcast
JJ's comment on the crowd noise at Arsenal is so spot on. The guy feels football so acutely. What a legend.
The way that Arsenal dominate teams this season is incredible to watch. And they are the youngest team itl. Arteta did crazy job.
A little sad that the Brighton v West Ham segment was all about West Ham and not about some of those beautiful goals that Brighton scored. It's been fun watching them this season
I bet the baldie Jon something guy loved this
The whole Tifo crew are still relishing United's loss days later
Wolves not even being mentioned during the meandering through the other results despite beating Tottenham. More evidence to add to my conspiracy board about how Tifo is allergic to mentioning Wolves. Tsk tsk.
Oddly enough, Jon is much more tolerable when United lose.
Maybe because his disdain for the club is in better proportion.
Can someone explain the rationale behind filming a podcast backwards hahaha
I asked Chat GPT to write a song about JJ Bull
Verse 1: He's a man with many talents, a jack of all trades, A football tactician, and a musician who serenades, His name is JJ Bull, and he's a legend in his own right, A master of analysis, always shining bright.
Sebs room progression had been glorious. The xCat and xPlant progression is clear to see.
This is like watching Momento in podcast form.
Love this show, but Joe makes a massive massive (positive) difference. I always enjoy a little more when Joe is on
being an insomniac and this dropping at 2am Miami time >>>
I will not consume tifo content if JJ is released by the club.
With JJs nickname it used to be the Mallard then he'd go "AAAAAA" but then it shifted to Bullard
loved this episode so much, was really fun. never change , tifo :)
I like going off topic but I prefer it when you record in order so all the references actually make sense
I find it funny how every time Jon mentions how Bayern Munich went through a phase of playing like a Red Bull team, he brings it up like he's having a new thought.
JJ Bull the bullet! I missed this line so much
Isn’t it The Bullard?
JJ Bark the Bulldog
Jon Mackenzie is a top analyst. Really get a different viewpoint listening to him

just love TIFO IRL, hands down the best football podcast, and there are some very good ones out there so that's saying something. Keep it up lads.
....oh, and ask for a wage increase, shits getting expensive.
Arsenal and Liverpool are cooking right now and I say let them cook. Don't keep hoping Arsenal will bottle it.
hey man, i really like JJ and his songs, dont fire him, thx
Re: The man eating Pigs. There was a serial killer in Canada named Robert Pickton, who had a pig farm. It is suspected that he got rid of his victims by cutting up the bodies and feeding them to his pigs.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, you can feed dead people to pigs.
And it all comes a full circle... some humans eat them, they eat humans. The circle of man eating pig life? 🐷
I only understood what Joe means when he says they're having a break. I thought they were stopping the recording for a while and coming back. I watched this episode on my school's computer, and the ads finally showed up lol
who googled Bullard?
comparing jar jar binks to robert lewandowski is a new peak, both for JJ and this podcast.

It was really interesting learning about the Scottish agenda. I feel like joining JJ in the Downfall of Scotland. My code name is Macbeth
those bloopers at the end were amazing XD
Oh thank god! Joe's back to make it less of a football podcast. I was genuinely getting worried.
That ending was incredible well done lads
