I am not one for music videos.. it's a silly little bit that is made for groupies who are obsessed on the person not the music. Music to me, are notes that touch my soul. Words that I have lived and lyrics that nearly killed me. But never in my life has a video touched me the way MY VALENTINE. I am a mother of a deaf woman, but she is not a victim, but a woman of substance. This video touched my soul, in a way that its never been touched before. It started with the words.. it moved into a short movie that brought beautiful tears to my eyes. Thank you.

I not agree with you. The video is a way to give some of the musician point of view. As one that watch the video you are the one that decide if you feel part of it. Its not for groupies. There are people that need that visualisation .
I could watch this as a movie...absolutely amazing. Justice for Johnny...and Sir Paul you could not have chose a more perfect couple than Natalie and Johnny to be featured in this video. Thank you for supporting this gentle, giving man.
The versatility of Johnny Depp amazes me. I imagine that for Paul it was the same or more. It was beautiful to see how each one was contributing something to end up with a beautiful material.
The video is so stunningly beautiful, I can barely wrap my brain around it. The chemistry between Natalie and Johnny was palpable even though I don't think they were even there at the same time. Imagine if they would have been. Natalie is amazing. So cute and perky, then profound and soul wrenching with her grace and beauty in the video. And Johnny...need I say more! Great job Sir Paul.
Fab-u-lous! I came upon the music video only recently when Sir Paul played it at one of his concerts and it is stunningly beautiful, as is this song - lyrics and melody. I was surprised that Ms Portman and Mr Depp had not recorded together - and yet, not surprised, the miracle of editing. Beautiful signing by Ms Portman. The music video has become one of my favourites and this 'Making of...' video was just great.
Does anyone know what year this was recorded? So amazing to see these good friends. Thank you Sir for supporting Johnny and standing with him as a true friend during these past difficult years 🙏 ❤ 💙 🙏
Not if you mean the finger incident where Amber Heard's thrown bottle severed Johnny Depp's fingertip. 2012, the time of this video, was the year they first got involved. Turd severing his finger in Australia was 2015.
Is there an irony with a video deplicting sign language where there's no subtitles available. Never understand why videos don't include subtitles but there are loads. Still, fabulous video.
