mana warden could be very useful in melee only matches(as giving your tank shield to halve the opponents attack on it).especially if reach is available allowing it to attack as well). opportunity/sneak rulesets as well for 4 damage for 4 mana is not to shabby. Particularly in opportunity non magic you can add the shield to either a taunt card or something that has lowest health to make it more resilient.

I think Mana Warden is great. Sticking Shield on cards like Olivia, Iziar, and Xenith Monk can be absolutely brutal.
