  • Rasam is a staple food made in every South Indian homes. We make rasam almost every day for lunch, so why not add a twist and make it more interesting and also make it healthy. I have posted several interesting and aromatic rasam’s earlier, do not forget to check out other RASAM VARIETIES on my playlist.
    I got the opportunity to use GPC Hing powder for these recipes. this hing powder is strong, great in fragnance and adds special value to your kitchen. Do try using this powder in your regular cooking.

    Toor dal - 1 &1/2 spoon
    Fenugreek - 1 spoon
    Dry chili - 4 to 5 nos
    Tamarind Water - 1 & 1/2 cup
    Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
    Salt to taste
    Coriander Seeds - 1 spoon
    Curry Leaves
    Jaggery small Piece
    GPC Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
    Water as required
    Coriander Leaves
    Ghee - 1 spoon
    Mustard - 1/4 spoon
    Asafoetida Powder - 1/4 tsp

    I am in Mumbai. I ordered GPC hing powder and crystals from Chennai. They sent it by courier. I am using that hing for my cooking for last 8 months. Rasam looks yummy 👌👌👌👌

    Namaskaram Maami. This type of rasam is usually for drinking during lunch. Many elderly people would make a little rasam daily. Thank you for sharing.

    மாமி, நான் உங்கள் வீடியோ பார்த்து நிறைய கற்றுக் கொண்டு உள்ளேன். You are just a great inspiration for me. I have been trying to purchase this rasam vessel from Amazon. You once mentioned that it is wonderchef casseroles. I tried that. It says wonderchef die-cast ceramide set. Is that the one which you have mentioned? Please help me in getting the same vessel which you are using for keeping rasam. Sorry for troubling you. Waiting eagerly for your positive response

      You can prepare this recipe during pre and post delivery. It is very beneficial for the new born and specially the mother.
