I’ve learned some of these just through practicing. The tips I found most helpful were the slow motion technique and the poses (I haven’t even thought about that!) One tip I can give anyone struggling with improving their fight scenes is to just keep animating! Don’t give up, animation is a process just like any other skill.
Great video Hank! Very helpful for beginners and experienced brickfilmers alike.

I 100% agree with your tip! Just practice and try new stuff. Tutorials can only tell you what to do, you cant improve until you practice it over and over for yourself 🙌

@SophisticatedWaffle no, sir. The other side has some bricks on the opposite end of the camera button, and theres also sticky tack stuck to the bricks on the front for extra hold 🍻

This was a supremely well made video! I’ve found myself that training Muay Thai I’ve gotten a better understanding of momentum and form when animating fights. If I don’t know how to animate something, I just stand up and act it out myself 😂

Lovely video. I really like practical filmmaking, so seeing the clear bricks used when your characters are jumping/falling etc. is extremely charming.
