Mercedes 410D Glow Plug Renewal

Thank you for your videos
We have a 410d 611
And it cranks but won't start
And the last day something kept on running a few seconds even with the key switch off.
Could it be a solenoid even now it doesn't do that?
I read when cranking but not starting could be the spark plugs (where are they in the motor?) or the fuel system.

It could be a few thing why it wont start and then carries on running when you turn the key off. But one thing I must point out, 410D engines dont have spark plugs. Thats why it as a D after 410 that becuase it's a diesel engine, and to ask where the spart plugs are is a bit of a concern. I think you need get yourself an owner manual and read up on fault finding which will be in the hand book. Cheers Jeff
