If you played Wing Commander you would understand SQ42 a bit more. The prologue introduces all the game's main characters in fine style. However, the game will play much differently: live on a ship, do mission briefings, and attempt the mission in a completely open world. There will be exotic locations to visit, ship combat, FPS combat, puzzles, and more. We don't need to worry about too much cinematics, the prologue is a mini-movie to help drive the story.
Love the banter of the gunnery crews, and the fire control officer telling them to shut up and watch their sector. That's the most military thing ever.
If I have to choose between Squadron 42 and GTA6, then I'd rather choose SQ42 over GTA6. GTA6 is gonna be DEI infected and I'm not interested in DEI infected games.
Patch 4.0 is still in evocati testing at time of writing still kinda far from releasing but making good progress and there's no NDA so people are making videos about it. Open to everyone is the 3.24.3 patch ptu testing.
Wow you out Sony and MS in the same category in terms of games. Sony's first party offerings are often fantastic and high budget, because Sony does allow more freedom and faith to their devs. They are only mean if titles don't sell after multiple releases.
@@r.daneel.90 Roberts has stated multiple times it will not. Last time Sony crawled to get it on their console Roberts wanted 80 mil plus 99% of each sale. Basically told Sony if they want it they will have to pay for it and they get zero dollars from the sale. The man holds a grudge against Sony Movie Pictures and Sony as a whole.
@@grygaming5519 Honestly they would probably still make a profit selling whatever console it's on if they could negotiate for PC/Playstation exclusivity just from how many people would buy console that don't want to build a gaming PC. Would give people a reason to maybe buy the PS5 Pro...
I shall burst your commentor's bubble at 5:37. Roberts told Sony and Microsoft to go pound sand, that SQ42 will never see the light of day on a console. Lets just say lots of bad blood between him Sony, EA and Microsoft. Also its finally time PC gets a true game for itself that isnt a cheap port of a AAA title. Then judging from how much money went into the game and the already amount of copies sold (about 4 million pre-sold copies) its already slated to be the most sold game. Why? because every pledge will get SQ42 for free and rumor is those who do not have it slated due to a lawsuit back in 2016 will get the game for free as long as they have a pledge above 60 dollars. SQ42 will cost backers 20 dollars via pre order if they own a 40 dollar pledge. It will be an add on for them.
Consols are not strong enough for SC, both Games Star Citizen and Squdron 42 are 100% made for PC and future Hardware. For example my PC 13700K @5.7 Ghz with a 4090 @ 3Ghz 48GB RAM @7200 Mt/s needs DLSS Quality (66% Resulotion) for 4K @ 60 fps in evry Location of Stanton and Raytraycing, dynamic Clouds, Wettersimulation etc. is not implemented yet. So wen you wat to play this Games you need a good PC not Highend but good. Greetings from Germany.
I’m hoping we see the next gen do a lot of cloud compute or streaming. But yes the current consoles would limit the game but tossing this game into GeForce now would be having the game running on a $4000 computer
@@GingerPrimeTV That's if you're going over the top at minimum specs you need a 7060 RTX, a 5600 AMD (or intel i5). To get the best performance probably a 7800x3D with a 4070ti/7700xt. So between a 1500-2500 dollar system. Due to Nivida charging to use DLSS they went with Vulkan meaning SQ42 & SC gets the best performance from AMD systems as of current.
Seeing this played live was insane, even with the crashes lol

For all those being generation Wing Commander: That's soooo Chris Roberts all over the place! It feels like a Wing Commander relaunch on dope! 🔥

Damn the donations notif last so long and loud too
Glad that i get my Buyback token for SC+Sq42 bundle for $45.
Escape from Butcher’s bay was a great game
This reminded me about Freespace games. Vanduul in the fleet battle are in many ways like Shivans. Less beams than in Freespace 2 tho.
It just looks so damn good.

Good reaction, but your camera is too big, it covers quite a bit of the screen, for this type of cinematics, covering it is a crime 😞
Was the video set to 720p? looks low quality! :D
Finally!
have fun at the pizza party. I love pizza too

it was meant to go to wave 1 this evening but they run into some weirdness that they had to push it back a bit
@captainkingpin6836 well as I said at time of writing now yeah ptu coming soon maybe next week or so at the earliest?
sounds likely

What is this in reference too?
I don’t think Sony is releasing many good games these days tbh.
There are way too many key binds for this game to go console.
SQD 42 and SC are PC exclusive titles, they wont ever be going to any console.
The presentation of the Genesis tools you may find very interesting. o7
wait for it lol
