You should show scammers you have an insane amount of money in your bank account, like 500 million, and then start complaining that their services are too expensive and keep haggling on the price

Well he did know when to give up. I think his general disposition was actually very pleasant. He never yelled or swore. Unfortunately, young men and women often get duped into this job because they're desperate for money. It's actually just really sad. I'm at least hoping that this is just a young man who doesn't know any other way to make a living, but there is, of course, always a big chance I'm wrong.

@@JensengTea Yeah. It's easy to see them as evil but these are not individuals trying to scam people on their own. They are employees of mega companies that hire and employee hundreds if not thousands for these call centers.
It is nice to imagine everyone refusing to work for such a company but the alternatives are usually pretty bad.
They really are just employees doing a job.
And playing Devils Advocate if somebody is vulnerable enough to fall for one of these they probably should not be in the position to follow through with them either.

Trying to get jobs out of school is hard as hell. One article had some general job hires and candidates for one company and they hired 115 people out of 10,000 applicants.
These jobs tend not to tell people they are scam jobs. They tell you when it's too late and since you are broke people will do it for a couple of weeks and quit.
The companies even scam the scammers by telling them it's a legit job and have them pay $$$ fof training and interview opportunities, only to find they are out of money and are forced to work these jobs to pay off the debt of being scammed.
Trust me, these people are forced into a very shitty industry. Just google it up, pretty sad for all parties invovles except for the experiences Sharks and business owners

It sounds like someone told these scammers that Americans are rich and that losing a couple of thousand dollars wouldn't affect them at all. I've heard this quite often in this videos. They don't think it's a lot of money for us.

    • @elswordevecodecute2554

Some of them might think that but I've also seen quite a few that know exactly what they're doing and continue stealing money from people no matter what kind of situation it puts the victim in. It's even led to some really sad outcomes.

    • @basicallyeveryone
      @basicallyeveryone 4 роки тому +66

This is what I think about them too. They don't feel bad at all because they got brainwashed to think that stealing money from you does not affect you in anyway. Even if you cry on the phone about losing $ 1,000 they still think you would never be as poor as they are (I mean in many cases that might be even true). The real people to blame are the ones that will never call anyone but still make most of the money out of it. Those are the real psychopaths. They don't just steal from other people, they even manipulate poor souls to steal money from others for them. But not just them. Also society in general is to blame if we live in a world where some of us have to be cruel enough to steal money from other vulnerable people.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to excuse those scammers. I mean, everybody always has some kinf of choice? But some choices are pretty tough and not everyone has the will power to do these right choices. Especially if you have to choose between starving and stealing money from people which, from what you know, are living in a society so rich they won't ever know what starving even means.
Edit: One thing I want to add. You can see the exact same thing happening in Europe too. People from poor european countries are scamming vulnerable people living in rich european countries. Why do you think this happens everywhere? Do you think all those people are born cruel enough to hurt other human beings? Do you think all of them would as well steal money from their own grand mother? I don't think so. It is no coincidence that indian people are scamming rich english speaking countries. It is no coincidence that poor european countries are scamming rich european countries.
After all, we somehow have to deal with it. We are all born into this right now, and, with now doubt, this content is pretty entertaining!
I just still hope that we will run out of new content in the future. As entertaining as it is.

There are plenty of valid ways I could compare any person with Adolf Hitler, like in how they breathe air and eat food. Comparing a person or action with another person or action doesn't mean their total moral value is the aspect being compared, that's a wrongful assumption.
