Another splendid study. Interesting bit about the iPad and procreate. I’ve been considering getting one to dip my toe into digital art. I like the idea of having paper or canvas as evidence of my efforts and decisions. There isn’t as much of an undo with paint. How do you like working digitally?
Thanks Jeff. Yeah, I am new to digital art as I only got an iPad a few months ago. It was actually my friend Andrew Tischler that suggested to me why not get an iPad and use ProCreate so I thought why not give it a try. I got an Apple Pencil to go with it and downloaded Procreate and it is very handy. I thought maybe it could help speed up my design process so my digital sketches are purely so I can use them as reference for my paintings. I do quite like using it 😊

i just want to ask, when do you use alizarin crimson on your mixtures?
I use alizarin crimson mainly as a tinting colour, so it is especially good for clouds, rocks, mountains, shadows, hill shadows, sunsets etc 😀
