Truly sublime!! Wow. Although the style is different, this reminds me of James Booker, in the sense of pure feeling combined with total mastery. Incredible.
Man...that solo was amazing. Always when I heard any singer announcing a bass solo I kind of "wow...not sure if this will happen" (cause actually is not always that a bass solo works well and sound good. Only my opinion, but this was one of the best bass solo I heard in a way long time.
Tones and the soul and technique. Dude huge fan of yours love the constant drawbar adjustments. That’s how a Hammond becomes even more versatile. Killer job!
Been playing Hammonds from the age of 13 Lachy...my all time favourite players and in no particular order would be Dr Lonnie smith ..Joey De Francesco ..Billy Preston....Doug Riley and of course Jon Lord...Love your style mate and in my humble opinion you play the Hammond better than all the above..it's as if the organ becomes a part of you when you play...Just brilliant...See you at Camelot, Vernon
Wish that the world can see Lachy, because he is definetely a outstanding organist, probably the best of his generation. Post this incredible artista you mentioned. Wish more and more people realize it like you did.
Being a bass player, I don't usually go nuts over bass solos, but this one is my favorite. Jan's feel and absolutely KILLER tone are amazing. And of course, I'm already HUGE Lachy fan. I stumbled across this show when Lachy put it up and have been a fan since and have listened to this show MANY times. It's one of my favorite background shows to listen to at work or when entertaining at home and it always gets great compliments and I'm happy to see Lachy's popularity grow and the bigger he gets, the better the chance I'll get to see him come somewhere CLOSE to Connecticut!!
Wow Cheers Joe. That's a really nice message. Yeah Jan is outrageously talented. Absolute incredible player. Such feel and note choice. An absolute natural. Music through is bones
I’m so stoked to see other comments about the bass solo. The tones he gets out of that instrument speak to me more than lyrics ever could. So simple yet so powerful.
I say a lot of nice things about your playing but the way you handled the Hammond on Jealous Guy is a thing to behold. You don't play the Organ, you handle it quite well`. I truly love the way that you play the keyboards.
I've commented before. But with a few large whiskies down this version just gets to me in various ways!!! And that bass interlude - man, it's actually meditative! Rewound three times for the pure pleasure!
Je t'écoute en boucle et j'adore . je voudrais prendre tes cours en ligne mais je ne parle pas un mot d'anglais hélas tu es une bete de scene !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GENIAL
Mesmerized by your master ship on the Hammond, your soulful voice and the energy that is felt every time I watch one of your youtubes. If I ever saw you in person, I might implode! You are mind-blowing!
Ever since the days of seeing Jimmy Smith at the 40 Thieves Club in Bermuda or Richard Groove Holmes to Keith Emerson with The Nice in Bath in 1969, Rick Wakeman 1974 with Yes, Gary Brooker with Procol Harum, I have loved great organ players...... This is some great playing !
This is absolutely brilliant , This has so much with so little going on , this is better than any "Pop Sync Singer" Country Rap bulls:it played on MSRadio. Bravo Mr Doley , keep the blues alive sir !!!
I'm one of the few bass players that typically dislikes bass solos, but this one is just so frigging tasty! Jan has such a great feel. Love your music!
I'm with you Joe, also a bass player. I loved Jan's solo. I also heard Lachy at Mitchell Creek in 2015 and his bass player then did a fantastic solo - I was mesmerised.
Loved how the bass put little hints of the voice melody on the chorus part of the solo. Keep the good vibes coming!!Just discovered you today! Greetings from Argentina
The delivery and power on this track is phenomenal. move aside Smith,Mcduff,Auger,Lord,Booker.t and Wynder K, Lachy my man, you've just become my favourite organist👏👍
In this world today, no artist can make me more impress and enjoy music as this guy does.
You are the best Lachy!!!
Waiting to see you in London.
Hey Cheers Ismael
His guy is awesome and an Adelaide guy too💙💙💙
God has to keep you in a good shape for ever.

Yeah Jan Bangma is fantastic :-)

The entire performance is so killer. Playing as well as sound quality. Lucky crowd!
As a bass player, I can appreciate how much is going on here. Proof that you don't need to spill notes all over the floor to play a great solo.
Excellent bass solo also1

Super mais un peu trop de distortion et pas assez d'accords avec le Hammond.. You never play Hammond and Honner together.? Thank you
