The Hammond organ is the Harley Davidson of keyboards. Old rough heavy unrefined but with a sound and mystique that is unmatchable.
I love the sound of a good Hammond organ solo.
I first fell in love with the Hammond sound when i discovered Deep Purple, Jon Lord was an absolute beast on the organ.
Good to know there are still people who keep the Hammond organ relevant in rock music today.

Can you imagine.. once heard Don Airey blow the roof off with his A100 and 2x Leslies ,so 4 ... would hear them here in Portugal played in Aus. The man knows his organ history! AND he's playing THE FURNITURE!!! I'm an instant convert!
Let me tell you from experience. Moving that Hammond and even the Leslie’s is a job in itself. And even the hookups to make it work. Dragged into clubs back in the day more times than I care to remember. Guys used to “chop” them to make them a bit easier to move but that basically ruined them. Those are worthless now. 1948 Hammond CV Leslie 147.

Lachy Doley I was on Wurlitzer pages then the Clavinet appeared and I love that sound as well so ended up getting to your page. Love the outputs from 2x Leslies. I just have the 2101 Hooked up to my XK3C rig.

Man...great chops and tone. I had a KP chop that Bill Beers modded so that I could run a 147 and 122 together. The 14* + 122 combo is just flat out nasty. Definitely a fan, great stuff.
