first i started at denons (dn-2000f mk2,/4500mk2/s3500/hd2500 etc) after pioneer introduced the rx, i switched to the xdj rx, and still use it today. its a great piece of gear, but searching for a song is a pain in the .. without using the laptop so i'm looking for a replacement i have doubt between the pioneer rx3 and the denon prime 4+ , whitch should i choose...
I don't understand fascination with this standalone devices??? With my FLX6GT,Ipad, Power bank,DI box... I'm portable at fraction of price of this devices+ with DjAY pro,I have stems and streaming and neural mix
@@SkippyPB. we’re not sure where you would validate that comment but we can tell you that from the many that we have sold they have proven to be very reliable. Most of the issues that we have seen with DJ controllers generally come down to firmware or the users computer. Once those things are worked out, they generally run flawless, not just the Four, but most of them out there.
Depends on your software, but Serato recommends 16 gb for "high performance features," which is a nice way of saying "stems." So yes, I would recommend 16 Gb or more.
Any help would be appreciated. I do a live radio show using Djay Pro, iMac and Tascam Mixcast 4. I am using my computer keyboard for controlling start/stop and fade. I would like a small controller that I can connect to my iMac via USB. Any ideas?
Just get the pioneer dj flx4... It works with Djay, Serato and Rekordbox and has everything you need, it's well built, and really portable. I use it as a secondary controller/setup and also use it for preparation and when I just want to mess around on my couch with my iPad or Mac
I agree with Neal. If you check out my latest stream here on the channel, I talked about the FLX4 specifically because it works with djay Pro on all laptops and mobile devices as well as Serato, Rekordbox, and Virtual DJ. I didn't know this until recently, but the little FLX4 is actually the most versatile controller available right now because it just works with everything!
Denom Prime 4+ and Opus Squad which one would you recommend? Ignore the price. Just by recommendation.

You need a decent laptop with 16gb for track separation, according to the specs for Rekordbox.
👍
Naw. You good with 8gb.

@@markopetrovic223 thanks for sharing your perspective- we are glad you found something that works for you
Yea Djay pro is a game changer, I was on VDJ for years, tested Djay pro and subbed. Haven't used VDJ since then
Can you use Rekordbox with prime 4?
@@Kelcystarr don’t think so
Wait denon prime 4+ has stems now!??? When did they announce this??
beta. & you can't use stems on a track longer than 10 min as of now.
yes - what they said ^^^
@@Nocofella I’ll wait for the official release not beta
I got a question. Would an old denon sc3900 cdj keep up with the rev 7 for scratching and real feel for scratching in 2024 ?
Yes
Doesn’t the Rane 4 have reliability issues?

Do stems need 16gb laptop? Im on Macbuuk and its not 16Gb

I believe the Rev 1 works with DJay Pro AI. You may want to go to their forums and ask people...

Denon Mk2 6000 absolutely love it
A very solid controller that was built to last for sure!
PIONEER DJ DDJ-FLX10 ?
any good ?
Yes. That's why we include it in this list.
Oh yes :-)
@@TheDJsGuru is there any newer version coming out soon??
@@DJSwitchPDX thx chap!
Does RANE FOUR has USB C connection?
The Four has two USB-B connections. The Pioneer FLX10 has USB-C I believe.
I just ordered a Rane One. I'm getting a free gator G bag for it too. I'm thinking about getting some butter rugs and an innofader for it.
Nice hope we can help you next time at djsupplystore.com
Great video!

Traktor Pro 4 created the ability to save STEMS first! Not this Denon thingy!

I have Denon Prime 4 (not 4+) and i'm already 4+ years happy)
