＜あらすじ＞
那智の沖にて入水して果てた平家の嫡流・維盛。 出家した維盛の子、六代御前は滝口入道と共に父の弔いの為、那智の浦に向かった折、維盛の入水した処で念仏を唱える元家来の武里が居りました。 三人は再会に驚き、喜び、弔いを始めていると維盛の霊が姿を現すのです・・・。
戦によって引き裂かれた親子の心情、ひいては戦争の悲惨さをも訴える能です。

＜Story＞
Koremori was a member of the noble Heike Family. He did not want to fight in a war, so he ran away from his home in Yashima, then killed himself in the sea at Nachi-no-Ura. Rokudai-Gozen goes to Nachi-no-Ura to pray for his father together with a former servant, now also a priest, Takiguchi-Nyudo. At the same time, another former servant, Takesato, who saw the last moments of Koremori’s life, arrived at the shore by boat. The meeting was a coincidence,and they are happy for their reunion. When they start to pray, the ghost of Koremori appears. This Noh shows the love of a father and a son, which was torn apart by war. It also shows the real personal horror of war.
