I already have a very good i9 13900k CPU with a 4090. I was going to build a new PC around the 5090 until i saw how terrible this round of CPUs are between Intel and AMD. So im just going to upgrade the GPU and call it a day
True but I'm not sure I'll get ''a good one'', issues free and I don't want to go thru the RMA experience with Intel. I am seriously thinking to change the team at this point. I'm waiting for the 9000 X3D on 7'th of November. AMD has so much more longevity in MB support for future products, the ZEN 5 .. 3D Cache .. There are so much more + at AMD at this point..
@@4kPcGamingthings will get better with time since is a new architecture and I think if it’s turned well together with some higher frequency ddr5… 🎉🎉🎉 I might give it a try, who knows. I been following all day a lot of people’s benchmark results on the overclockers forums and things are different at 5.8, 5.9 ghz and over 9000 mhz ddr5.
@@BMAR92 I'm not willing to keep the CPU overclock that high just to play a game and still be under a 14900K or on the same level. It's just not the generation that makes sense investing in. Also the uncertainty of the platform.. Will a new CPU be compatible with this LGA (Intel didn't gave an answer) ? I had a look at the RAM prices for those frequencies.. insanely expensive. I want FPS from my GPU and CPU, if Intel is no longer interested in making gaming CPU's, fine.. maybe is time to move on. I can't wait to see how a 9800X3D will perform, if it beats the 7800X3D I rather invest in a sick new cooler for the new system than 9000 MHz DDR5. I'm just disappointed by Intel. We will see how things will unfold.. 7 Nov is the new date I look forward to..
@@4kPcGamingI think this is a step forward for them. It beats the last cpu from AMD in productivity without hyper treading, also is more efficient, is just released for a day and for sure things will get better, the games will be optimised for this also. There are a lot of people sharing their experiences, thoughts mostly positive, also records broken with over 12000 mhz ddr5. At this moment, patience is the key. The reviewers are not showing up the true potential. There are also people who hate and arguing bla bla bla, intel this, intel that, we go with Amd. Well, I wish good luck to everyone to choose whatever they want. I personally know people who used intel cpu for years and once they moved to Amd, intel s..ck, is like they forgot about it and not so long after their cpu started exploding into the motherboard socket 😅 It’s like this everywhere, no matter what you choose. I wish you good luck with your future choices, i hope it is a good one for you and you will not be like this people once you move on the other side of the road.👋

That’s unfortunate to hear. You can also pick up an 14900k and be happy with it for some time and no point in changing the motherboard.

Let’s go AMD 😅
