I thought this was a great video! I think listening to your body is imperative especially during recovery… skipping meals isn’t healthy but neither is forcing yourself to eat when you truly are not hungry… having a juice (liquid calories) was a good choice… there are days when our bodies will need more fuel and days when they won’t… I think it’s helpful to have someone that you trust to oversee your intake and make sure you aren’t under your calorie goals… I’d also like to point out that it’s ok to just be you. You don’t have to be the UA-camr every day… you are on vacation and that’s healthy! You don’t have to be “the girl in recovery” you can just be Katharina… the girl in New York with her boy friend… enjoying her life! Sometimes it’s best to forget who we are in order to learn who we are becoming… 😊🥰😍

Dear Katharina, although it's important to follow your cravings, I think they may still be clouded by your history of anorexia and that not feeling hungry is a sensation altered by your long deprivation in the past. In my opinion, it's more important not to skip meals in your situation, especially if that's what you've decided to highlight for the thousands of young people who follow you here as an example. Maybe you can manage to be 100% honest and still know what to communicate here, thinking of all the others who are hanging on your every word and imitating you in their naivety and vulnerability. You can skip meals because you're not hungry when you're completely cured, but not yet, so as not to lose sight of your goals. Although in my opinion, skipping a meal is never an option for someone who has suffered from an eating disorder 😊 I wish you plenty of courage, keep fighting like you did in the beginning!

Thank you for your comment. I do resonate a 100% with what you’re saying and I’m aware of it. Firstly, I’m genuinely sorry the start of the video gave you that impression! I literally did not feel hungry and I’m positive it had nothing to do with my mindset but a physical feeling.
I recorded this video a while ago and thinking about it today, I did also wonder if I needed to put a disclaimer or mention something in the comments. I do plan to record multiple of “what I eat in a days” whilst I travel through Japan so that I’ll be able to show you a better picture because this one day in New York is not representative of my entire diet.
However, it’s important for me to be honest and I therefore chose to share this with you. I hope you’ll enjoy my upcoming videos from Japan and hopefully they’ll show you a much better, overall picture x

What I ate on this day in New York is just ‘a day’ and not ‘every day’. As I did mention in the video, I did not
feel as hungry this day as I did some other days which genuinely annoyed me when I was recording because I want to show you as much as possible!
I know it’s quite controversial to not have breakfast as someone trying to recover and regain a fully, healthy relationship with food. But I must be honest and say I genuinely did not feel hungry.
Even though I’m still in a state in which I need to put on more weight for various reasons I do believe I must listen to my body at all times in order to regain a 120% healthy relationship. With that said, making sure I eat enough during the entire day, looking at it in the bigger picture. I do share most part of my recovery with you but not all of them.
I really so appreciate having such a supportive proportion of you watching and cheering on me and each other. Thank you ❤️
For reference here’s everything I ate on my second day in Tokyo vm.tiktok.com/ZGJcRb3XD/ :)

Glad you went to that famous pizza spot in NYC! Only heard good stuff about it! Glad you're not in NYC now though as it seems like there's a horrific storm going on there! I pray for everyone living there to be okay! 🏙

7:45, What does Matcha taste similar to if we're talking foods here in Denmark? I've never had it, smelled it, or tasted it.
