- Saw the trailer at 9am and made this entire song by 7pm. You can see I'm very exciting for new horse content. This started off as a fun project but I'm really happy with how it turned out. Also, I color colored the song from which pony sings which parts (as I imagined it as a group number with every pony singing) but feel free to check the description for the lyrics if you get confused on who is singing what.
Also I didn't make the instrumental track so the fact that it share a similar pattern of the Gen4 finale song wasn't something I could pass up once I realized it haha. I knew I had to add a little sprinkle of the old gen in there.

Fun Fact: The line "Can twilight sparkle like the sun?" is referring to the time of day since "twilight" and "sun" are similar in that aspect but it plays into a double meaning referencing the character "Twilight Sparkle" and "Sunny" being on the same journey as a main character.

Although G4 is irreplaceable, I am very excited for G5 and what new wave of pony fans it will bring! I think the movie won't be very strong in the story-telling, but if it's for the sake of bridging between G4 and G5? it suits perfectly in my opinion.
Also love this very mellow yet has that "hopefulness" element of the song! Reminds me of "the pony inside" with the piano as the only instrument in the song.
I remember supporting her with her new laptop a few years ago. I do not regret it at all! She has gotten so good over the years! ^^

This is so beautiful and stupendous Ashley, your vocals are magnificent i swear your voice is so perfect for this song make no mistake about it!
It is true when one journey ends another begins, the Mane 6's story maybe over and we'll always have them in our memories, but now it's Sunny's and friends turn and hopefully their journey will give us more memories!!!

After hearing the beginning, I think it's finally hit me. It's over, the mane 6 are gone. They died a long time ago, the show is just a distant memory for the pony universe. I feel like I've just lost someone. Thanks for making me see that. It's time for a new story, a new beginning.

The fact that you made an entire song, a beautiful one at that, based off of a trailer is amazing. Every lyric fits every character so well (from what we know of them so far) and the vocal are gorgeous. I'm so excited for G5. G4 was EXTRAORDINARY, but I have to admit, I'm excited for some new grounds.
I am... floored by this song. Marvelous work, Ashley H! It's gentle, elegant and hopeful, and I think it could help a lot of people feel more confident about G5. It's hard to say goodbye, but we can find friendship once again.
