My brother just started designing a 16x16-cell maze with Bedrock REDSTONE in SURVIVAL last week. Popup walls 2 blocks high, operated by pistons, the only downside being that in order to randomize it, you have to stand in an underground room so all the redstone is within sim distance (and walls are short, it needs a roof). Impressive video tho, will def build it in a world
The breaking the armorstand problem is one of the many reasons I stopped using bedrock for commands, fake scoreboard players were too complex on bedrock, and there are less commands. Well done for making this in bedrock! It is an amaising achievement.
its really cool how many people have started looking into maze generation in minecraft. the two most recently developed powerful maze generation algorithms were actually made by redstoners, which is crazy to think about, being the origin shift and hilbert lookahead algorithms. DFS was a nice simple choice you made for the algorithm, as some extra fun i'd recommend also messing around with trying to make a few other algorithms as well! i'd love to see you implement origin shift or hilbert lookahead into this map, it would be a lot of fun.
I found your map download 2 days ago while i was looking around on planetminecraft. It really blew me away and i was so glad to see you made such an in depth video on it. I made my own version of this and it works effectively the same, except i reprogrammed it myself. Thanks a lot for the inspiration, keep it up with these awesome creations 👍
I've been trying to make maze generators in Minecraft for a long while now, but was never able to make something concise enough for my liking. This method is beautifully simple! You could actually use the generated maze as a cloning map. Read the blocks and use them to clone rooms and hallways on a much bigger labyrinth
Nice! Now make it 3D. >:] I made a 3D maze generator myself and it was... Yeah it was annoying. But it'd be really interesting to see how you would make one.
one problem to make a maze perfect you need only 1 route for the exit if you have multiple route for 1 exit it'll be easier to solve so I suggest a different algorithm

That sounds insane good luck to him.

restrictions cause inspiration
Physical markers are so good though!
5:37 here i was thinking "wait when the hell was that block added!?!?"
it's a bedrock exclusive 💀

I’m glad to hear it bro. Keep it up

I really like that you get to try and memorize it first so theres some skill to playing.
Yeah, me too. I thought it added more depth and skill rather than just a maze.
And it displays the build ;)
Beatiful build
This is genius! I imagine fighting against an ai solver 1 on 1 on this minigame! (That's probably going to be tedious, but nonetheless fun.)
4:54 it is a beautiful build :)
the minecraft maze community is growing
ant block 🗿
Pretty nice
You never fail to amaze me
Thats awesome
1:23 DOG :)
DAWG :)
Bro what are the commands pls
I really love ur videos 🥰🥰🥰
I made a parkpur ai bot with a similar way
This is better at making mazes than me😭
Nice! Now make it 3D. >:]

How did that work, like it would make paths up and down as well?

Doesn’t this maze also only yield one path from the start to the exit, or is that not what you’re talking about?
We need a lvl 2
BTW I love your videos
Actually can u make a server with lvl 255 tools
i know its bedrock but is there also a java version
Hey, I had created some maze generators before. You don't know that there are rules to follow and a lot of algorithm in generating mazes.
Now, I'm doing a redstone project which I call 'The Ever-changing Maze'.
W editing
Thank you!
can i play on java?(not like i have any friends to play it with)
This one is built on bedrock ( relatable)
Very cool but can u show me the commands so i can do it 😅
That's impossible
I can’t do it
Yea I know why
Bedrock works but nobody’s plays it :( It’s cost money)
Only Minecraft Education 😢
