I think it’s also worth noting that while the hero stopped the shooter 15 seconds from the initial shot, he also took 10 shots, hitting 8 from 40 yards away while closing the gap and calling for citizens to get behind him.
This 22 year old hit 8 of 10 at 40 yards, under duress and fire. That’s one hell of a feat and gives credence to training at a distance.
Further, there seem to be reports of the initial victim also carrying a firearm but was unable to use it as he was murdered in surprise by the active shooter. This just means that while my heart goes out to all the victims, it’s ever so much more important for more law abiding citizens to carry because sometimes, one may be given enough time to react while others are not so lucky.

We do not know the motive of the murderer. Most people here are attempting to fit this murder's motive to their agenda without any proof.
What we know: bad guy killed 3 people in gun free zone.
Good guy with a gun killed bad guy in a gun fre zone.
That is all we know. We haven't any proof he picked that spot for any particular reason.

And liberals think the cops cowardice disproves the good guy with a gun argument. All it does is prove that we conservatives are correct when we state all the guns should not be left to the government because the government does not have the best interest of American citizens. That's why I recently got a semi automatic shotgun it's a lot more destructive than an AR-15 any intruder in my home isn't going home. But I cut my finger pretty bad so shooting my shotgun would definitely open up the wound and make it bleed a lot. Good thing I have a semi automatic 22. No recoil to worry about.

I live about a half hour away from this place. Been to that mall plenty of times. I have never obeyed their stupid little sign. I'm so glad i'm not the only one.

We frequent the Greenwood Park Mall and this is the same entrance we use EVERY time. It's a shame that some media outlets are more focused on the HERO carrying in a gun-free zone.

The only thing I’d add to this video is to be aware of your surroundings and double check for multiple shooters.
There’s this video of 2 shooters walking into a Wal Mart and a conceal carry customer went to engage them.
He didn’t realize there were 2 shooters and was shot point blank in the head by the shooter who had the element of surprise.

We don't need some organization to fight for our rights.. WE need to fight for our rights by communicating with our representatives AND voting responsibly!!!

If this happens more often, I think the mass shooting trend would take a major hit
