  • Prismata is a PVE/PVP 'card' game, heavily inspired by RTS games. Today I review the game and show you how it all works.

Very nice introduction! It seems fairly complex, so your explanations are incredibly useful.

The game is free to play now. All the in game purchases are only for cosmetics.

It's a perfect information game with no randomness. I tend not to like those.

The mechanics seem really intriguing, but for an indie pay2play game it has too many ingame purchases, hidden behind an effing slotmachine even. Not a business model I'd like to support.

The business model is a bit weird. The way I would do it (I think), is to make the game f2p, but then only have PvP available. If people want to experience the story, then you can unlock them for a certain price.

The only thing you can buy in this shop/earn in the slot machine are cosmetics, and absolutely nothing that can give you an advantage in competitive play. The pvp will be free to play in the future, paying only gives access to extra single player content. Last, it is pretty easy to get a free key, just need to ask on the discord server

One thing to note is that you can get plenty of cosmetics by just playing the game with daily rewards, so that even if you don't want to pay anymore money, you can just get the pretty stuff over time.
