And also the speedo meter error on the Triumph has to be noted. Himalayan doing 150k is ahead of Triumph doing 160k.

@@conquerorz6700 Scrambler i believe is 10KG lighter than Himalayan 450 so for some people light weight machines are more comfortable for off-road. Himalayan is "only" good at extreme off-road. Everything else it's not impressive I mean throttle calibration sucks, Fuel leaking issue, So unrefined, engine still vibrates alot , overall the bike vibrates are Higher RPM, quality is just okay not great , I'm mean the head area is so messed up and then there is RE service.

Re h450 is more preferable for touring and also you don't have to worry about any rough terrain in the way, the suspension is 10x better then Bajaj triumph for sure

I don't understand why companies give tube tyres in adv bikes .I mean if I'm buying an adv bike I'm not going to ride it on tracks..If my bike gets punctured then what's the point of an adv ???I mean tubeless tyres also gets punctured but at least it gives you time to go through the situation.
Spoke wheels take heavy impact of off-roading. They are easier to fix when the spokes bend (if alloy breaks, it is game over and will need to buy new). I'm not saying I prefer spoke wheels. Just telling you the benefits of spoke wheels in advs
It's all about the transmission and the driver , the engine capacity and hp are similar the transmission not ..if you change the transmission of Triumph only a tuth front it can go faster for sure.... Himalayan is for sure a light adventure motorcycle the Triumph is a street scrambler other category more European style not for heavy duty as the Royal Enfield and Himalayan is also more European with liquid cool engine a big step for Europe , the previous model , man so slow and box design , perfect for mountain's not for towns..... in both times you can clearly hear the triumph rider holding the rev limiter for like 2 seconds each shift prior to shifting up, what a joke! there are other videos drag race the himi gets left behind initially then they both top out about the same top speed. In the first "race" the triumph pulls way ahead and literally stops accelerating to let the himalayan catch up! neither one is a speed machine, but at least try to make it believable!
Scrambler has better stability and let's be honest we don't need that much speed in touring bikes in the first place. On a regular basis you will enjoy the scramble more .
@@zakbond4903 No , but both people liked the 400x more. I will ride them both in my next ride to test it . Time was short that day but they said the scramble is as smooth as the honda engine. And the low end torque is just awesome.
you are comparing a 398cc bike with 452cc bike which is totally not acceptable also the triumph scrambler is 50k cheaper than hiamlayan so in my point of view scrambler is winner

It does, I was on a ride to chikmagalur recently on my scrambler 400x. The wind blast is horrible it pulls you back every time you open the throttle.

Himalayan got more top end than triumph. The triumph speed 400 just got huge speedo errorof almost like 20kph
