We cannot just tell them to stop trying to live better life, because they won't listen. Claiming to achieve net zero or below by relying on changing lifestyle of humanity is very stupid and naive. We have to be realistic and have to compromise. I can only see the viable option is huge nuclear powerplant + renewable energy infrastructure to support massive amount of carbon capture facilities. I don't see any other options. I also know carbon capture is very expensive and limited. But it is much much more realistic and practical than being naive and praying and crying and yelling to people to live less comfort and less convenient, or expecting entire humanity suddenly become changed to escape from short sighted mind and altruistic.
