"You're gonna freeze to death out there..." The moment in the movie where Neal starts to realize that he enjoys Del's company. Never fails to tug at the heartstrings just a little!
Well, Marie... Once again, my dear, you were as right as rain. I am, without a doubt, the biggest pain in the butt to ever come down the pike... I meet someone whose company I really enjoy, and what do I do? I go overboard. I smother the poor soul. I cause him more trouble than he has a right to. God, I got a big mouth... When am I ever going to wake up? I wish you were here with me right now.... But I guess... that's not gonna happen... Not now, anyway...
Imagine him and Chris Farley sitting on the couch watching TV and the TV is an endless marathon of both of their filmographies, and they are laughing so hard together. Yeah, that'd be nice.
as a Canadian I watch this movie every year for both our thanksgiving and American thanksgiving as well as about 6 other times throughout the year, this movie may very well be the greatest piece of cinema ever put together in terms of making you FEEL so many different emotions towards the characters

This is a great still for this song. One of my favourite movies of all time and I thought the ending was amazing. That's kind of what makes this movie so special. Del Griffith is funny and well-meaning and so full of life that you'd never dream of him being homeless and having lost his wife 8 years before we see him in the film. Neil Page's reaction is an image I'll never forget. Both Steve Martin and John Candy nailed that scene in the train station. Fantastic song too. Requiem Mass.
