@@securerofthebag2890 i managed to understand at the first too, bu the professor name was my problem, then i play ultra moon back to find the mohn name, and the mistery goal to complete this quest too.
When i first heard peoni say "ultra - mega - epic" i thought maybe the (mega) part was a hint at mega pokemon returning
Then it turns out even Rayquaza can't mega-evolve using Dragon Ascent. Pretty foolish of the writers (or localizers) to tease their players with such a term...
@@The_Endless_Now yeah mega evolutions are all I want back (still prefer it a 100 times over dynamax) but I guess it wasn't meant to be.
Especially after they brought them to Pokemon go I had my hopes up. Who knows maybe they'll release more SwSh DLC (maybe even free wouldn't that be a thing)

Well actually dataminers found something strange on the Pokedex when the DLC was released. Pokemon that could mega evolve had an extra Dex entry. For example, right down the Venusar entry there is a "Venusaur 1", and a "Blastoise 1" down Blastoise. This is the same with Swampert, Blaziken, Sceptile, Metagross, Garchomp, Tyranitar, Gardevoir, etc. But the most sus thing is that Pokemon with 2 mega evolutions, like Charizard and Mewtwo, had TWO extra dex entries instead of one. So yeah, I like to believe.

That doesn't work
To complete the adventures you need to capture the Regis from that profile, you can't transfer them
The same with all the other legendaries (Calyrex, Birds)
Unless you're reffering to shiny hunt on the alternate account, if so then it would be possible
If you do that it will take you like 2 years
*Small tip* : Nia can tell you the locations of some of the legendary Pokémon or Ultrabeasts in exchange for 5 dynite ores.

Just some clarification. You can get ultra beasts as your second max lair encounter. I got buzzwole during my second run before I had even completed any of the Legendary Clues.
Update: Just found Celesteela and I only have the regi clue done. So you can find them without needing to activate this quest.
could you technically reset the 2nd max lair encounter until you get the ultra beast you want?

I figured it out on my own because necrozma was literally the FIRST dynamax adventure I got after activating the quest.

What if (hypothetically) you have Shield and you pick “Anything is fine” and you find a Ho-Oh. Which is a Sword exclusive. Now you and your friend both have Shield and is now confused why you got Ho-Oh. I didn’t even join another person’s adven-tour. I mean, hypothetically
You can use the right stick to see what type the end raid boss is and scroll up from 1st pick on the map.

8:46 actually for some reason necrozma is not considered an ultra beast, as in the original sun and moon games, beast balls weren't effective on it

Quick tip, I noticed this myself.. Peonia can offer you locations of some pokemon in the max raid adventures for 5 ore. You know she has info when she bounces excitedly.

When you finish an adventure go talk to the daughter if she offers you a location you can take it or not just talk to her again, she might give you a special clothing item

I can confirm that you can encounter Ultra Beasts early if you play with others online. I didn’t complete quest 2 yet (because I want shiny Regis) and I still ran into a Kartana in the Dynamax Adventures.
7:17 My 1st Lair I caught Mesprit. 2nd was Yveltal, 3rd was Mesprit. Managed to catch the same legendary twice.... maybe I broke the game?

So when you get the ultra beast quests, can you still find legendaries in the dynamax adventures or just ultra beasts?
Both
Both legendaries and ultra beasts appear, and when you complete the ultra beast quest, ultra beasts still appear as well as legendaries. There are rumors going around that the shiny odds are better in the lair, but I'm not sure if that is true
The dlc is a bit short on content sadly. I had completed the whole story and the entire dex by the second day it was out

Pls can someone help I have encountered rayquaza over 376 times and I haven’t found any shines which is over 1000 encounters because I caught Pokémon along the way and I haven’t found any shines yet with the shiny charm and it is a 1/100 chance so surely I should have found at least one shiny by now
Its all a matter of chance. I found one in my 4th one before shiny charm. Havent found another since i got the charm, yet

@@ginger6300 just to make sure. You are aware that you can only see in the final menu (where you choose which pokemon to keep) if they are shiny, you cant within the fights themselves

Ok when Austin said ultra locke 2 I had to go backwards to check if that was fr and I am so happy
I had three raids on Ultra Beast (Celestria being my first, Necrozma being my second and Buzwole my third) and I was stuck with Swoobat since everytime I attempted to swap it would give it to the other party member. The first two ultra beast (had no idea what they were since I never played sun and moon) I was confused. However my Swoobat had a move to make the opponents ability *Simple* and I used it having done no research on the ultra beast abilities or stats. To say that made the battle a lot easier considering I had like two attacking moves.

Hey Austin! For the graph of all the ultra beast and legendaries I think u missed naganadel and poipole! Those two are my fav poison types :)
Cool little fact, Nia offers to give you routes to certain legendries in exchanges for Dynite Ore. I believe she offers a different one every time. But if at some point you talk to her and you don't have enough ore in your bag, she'll give you the route for free only once.
She offered to help me find Necrozma for 5 ore. I only had 4 at the moment since I had spent a bunch but I clicked yes just to see what she would say. I have a Necrozma now.

You can speak to peoni and she tells you about zygarde and 2 other Pokémon I cannot remember right now btw so you can instantly go to fight and catch them instead of having to randomly encounter.

A couple notes that I do not believe he brought up:
The beasts are NOT version exclusive. You can encounter previously version exclusive ubs natively in both games
Eventually, a poipole will appear once you catch enough ubs. It is a gift and is shiny locked
Cool Austin, I just caught a Shiny Pheromosa today and a Shiny Kartana yesterday.
So something funny about this to me. Besides the Suicune (because I lost against it), my first legendary I caught was Necrozma so basically I completed the final quest without completing the first 3 quests.

idk if anyone knows already but if you want the n- solarizer and n-lunarizer or whatever, you can go to the town where you fight bea or allister and talk to the guy that gives you a beast ball and he gives you them
