At 3:46’ when you had a^2+ab+b^2=13, change the left side to (a-b)^2+3ab. Since (a-b)^2=4 you’d have 3ab=9, or ab=3. Substitute the x terms back for a and b and take 3rd power both sides you’d have x^2-169=27 so x=+_14. Way quicker than the way presented here.
How can a rooted expression be negative? 'x=-14' does not fit the same
For real solution, the number inside square root (or even root) can not be negative but the number inside cube root (or odd root) can be negative.
