This truck is on the top of my wishlist. I drive a 2.4 Fortuner and appreciate it’s engine response down low on the rev range. I can only imagine how much better this one is.
Hilux GR and Hilux Rocco share the same 2.8L 204HP 500Nm of torque but the Hilux Rocco have a comfortable ride cause of its upgraded Superflex Suspension
Its alright if the interior is dated as long as its Toyota for the sake of reliability...it will definitely out-date all brands after a decade of use. 👍🏻
I like the exterior of the conquest more. For some reason not having the word “conquest” makes this looks like a lesser variant of the hilux from afar unless uou get near it to see the GR logo
Is this really the 2023 model? Because I saw an actual 2023 model and one of the biggest additional feature is the rear vents, which is noticeably absent in this model reviewed.
As mentioned, the 2023 gets the rear vents and ADAS. This is a slightly older test unit, but representative of the 2023 year model. Aside from those 2 changes, they’re identical :)
Would you say that at its price point, it needs rear disc brakes? Also, I remembered you mentioned in previous videos that 2.4 is enough. What made you change your mind?
Your voice 8:25 pretty much sums up the NVH in the hilux hahahahah. Your voice during that talk sounds like you're on a rough riding car. What's more funny is that at that time ( 8:25) you're about to comment on the Hilux's NVH hahaha
Depending on what you're looking for eh. Value wise, maybe not. But if you really want the heritage and reputation for reliability, it is an overall win.
The Hilux GRS. Tuyuta has endowed this brute with their breakthrough innovation that is a milestone in riding comfort and Tuyuta calls this the GRS ( Gentle Ride System). This is a leap forward in riding comfort against the likes of Ford, Mitsubishi or Nissan. With the GRS upgrade the riding comfort has improved from being "MATAGTAG to just "matagtag." 😉😆😅 hahaha

Is the Hilux Rocco only for the Thailand market?

Question.. what is the difference between 2023/2024 in the engine displacement CC or power
No difference

I agree with you, but I also enjoy the understated looks
@@KyleLiongCars I go to Mazda bt50 pangolin edition hahah pass sa grs

Would you say that at its price point, it needs rear disc brakes? Also, I remembered you mentioned in previous videos that 2.4 is enough. What made you change your mind?
No need for rear discs. 2.4 is indeed enough, but it’s not the best. 2.8 is the way to go.
Does it comes with crawl control, locking rear diff or mts multi terrain select?
Only a locking rear diff
Does it have sunroof/moonroof?
No
What was the main problem with 2.4 version
Slow
Why u did not the rear brake drum and why until now Toyota not replace by new abs break system
