What is with the no split sleeper thing? That is one and only advantage we have against slow shippers, receivers, and honestly slow freight market. That’s a tough rule to to put against a guy that paying for his truck and all that goes with it.

They took drivers education out of schools in many areas so nobody is being taught to a standard. Everyone is being taught by a parent and every parent isn’t a good teacher.

Screenshot your loads in the app soon as you book them. To have proof incase times change or rates change. They will change without notifying you and then when you call them out on it they will deny it. Had to deal with that just few days ago. Once they realized I had the proof they changed my appointment times back to what I originally booked. They moved the appointment time to where it wouldn’t have been delivered till after the Tuesday cutoff. Stay safe driver.

    From an article dated 2/1/24
Schneider National missed fourth-quarter expectations on Thursday, and its full-year 2024 outlook also came in lower than analysts’ forecasts. The company said it anticipates the truckload market turning, but like many others, believes that won’t happen until the back half of the year.
The company’s internal TL freight index has been below neutral for more than 600 days. The data set shows a normal cycle averages 577 days.
“We believe we’re very long into this cycle. … We do believe things will turn to an extent and we’ll get back into some level of restocking, that’s been stubbornly slow, and capacity continues at a slow and steady pace to exit the marketplace,” said President and CEO Mark Rourke on a call with analysts.

Unfortunately Schneider doesn't allow any concessions for changes in live load or not, change in weight or mileage. If your 8000 lb load becomes a 40,000 lb load you have no option to get any more money.

They canceled the load because you were on youtube.

Did you go to the beach on the weekend? Your face is very red except that it looked like you wore sunglasses and baseball cap.

You need to hear this. QUIT, quit right now and start a new life. Trucking died in the 80's when corrupt people took over. You do know your the one doing 95% of the work and are only getting like 5% of the profits.

You heard him say that if there was another job that he liked and he could make the same amount of money doing the other job he would quit. So you can advise him to do something he doesn’t want to do. As for me I am gunna get started and get my CDL. I won’t be missing out on the way it was in the seventies or eighties because I wasn’t even born at the time. So i won’t have an issue with how things work because I never knew how it used to be. And I can’t think of another job id rather do than drive trucks or cars as I do now.
