Hi Izzy, I think the reason why you have been so successful is because you come over as a person with a great personality, very smart and most importantly, speak so eloquently with a perfect British accent. Very few true Brits can do that! Well done, you have another UA-cam subscriber!
@@venandr I interpreted Peter's true Brit comment as meaning born and raised in the UK regardless of ethnic background. I'm a true New Yorker versus all the transplants we have living here in NYC as an example. As for the accent, yeah I thinking he was being condescending on purpose lol. Not all British accents sounds good. They have their own versions of "red neck" and "ghetto" sounding accents. I think he's referring to her sounding "proper." At the end of the day he ain't wrong about what is drawing views and subscribers in.
4 days back I started my youtube channel on Skincare. I am serious about it and not just as a hobby. That's why I didn't share it with anybody I know: be it family or friends. I so agree with this. My channel is still tiny but I've realized my videos about languages got me most of my views. So I decided to focus on that more to grow. Sometimes people watch and tell me they thought I was a big channel based on the quality and content so I take that as a feedback that I'm on the right path.

Thank you for going through EVERYTHING, like music, software, hardware...all of it. It's rare to find ALL the necessary info for starting and growing a channel in ONE video. Thank you. I have had a channel for a while, but now I NEED to work on improving some things. This was so helpful.
I’m in the same boat as you… I’ve had my UA-cam channel for about 6 months and it boomed up until January, then everything just suddenly stopped. I couldn’t figure out what changed, got defeated, then just ignored it all together. Now I’m trying to refocus my attention to help it grow and improve. This video was very helpful! What stands out to me is that your channel is all over the place - in a good way. There's videos about all sorts of topics which suggests to me that all the talk about 'niche' isn't gospel. As long as you're hitting that CTR and retention, you can get some real growth on UA-cam. Great video, nice setup, entrancing voice... What's not to love.

I always like hearing the beginning and the process of everyone’s journey because then I feel like I wasn’t crazy and everyone doesn’t necessarily start the same way. Big congrats on the 400k btw, literally double what you had when you made this video. 🎉 When it comes to controlling my emotions I always just think “Expectations are the thief of joy” So with that, in general I just make sure I know that while I love my video, I know I worked hard on it, I know it will give value, some might see it or not at all but don’t worry, you never know what could happen. Even if it fails, that’s ok you can make something better next time.
I like the point you made about creating content for your younger self (your potential audience) because you have loads of experience to share. Great tip! Thank you.
I just started my youtube videos about gardening and making youtube shorts, I find it very interesting, I felt elated when my videos have views, even if it's not that so many, like 5, 6 or 10 views. I felt blessed and thankful for my viewers 😊❤

I started two channels and I'm not really advertising anything yet. Just trying to find a rhythm and getting comfortable. But I'm also doing this with a strategy: I have a personal-vlog channel where I want to be able to create freely and a second channel that is very niche (social media for filmmakers). I fully believe in just starting and letting things take its own shape, like you say. :)

Thanks very much for putting this one up. I have been thinking of starting UA-cam for ages but just putting it off using the excuse that I am not ready to jump in. This was really motivating and your advice very helpful and encouraging. Best regards from UK and well done.
Thankyou Izzy for making this video, where you have narrated your journey starting and maintaining a youtube channel. While sharing your very real experiences you also manage to inform, educate and encourage others to start a youtube channel of their own. I have been watching other videos on starting a youtube channel and have been coming away feeling overwhelmed with information (most of it flew over my head, and the little I did understand, I don't remember). Frankly I found most of those videos quite boring! I am not saying those videos are not good, but it is definitely not targeted to an absolute beginner. Some of the videos seem like a whole lot of points / facts just put together from other videos or websites on a similar topic. Your advise on the other hand is so simple, clear and crisp. As it comes from your own experience it feels more relatable for people like me who have upto now found the idea of starting a channel so daunting!. You have made it appear doable by anyone willing to give it a go. Also, you have such an easy and likeable narrative style that listening to you is a pleasure. I hope you will be able to do another video with your organised style and step by step approach showing us how to actually go about the channel setup process as well.
Wow, watching this video was such an inspiring and insightful experience! It's amazing to see how much effort and dedication you put into growing your UA-cam channel from scratch to over 200k subscribers in just 33 videos and 1.5 years. I appreciate how you shared your top tips and secrets with such transparency, and provided practical advice that anyone can apply to their own UA-cam journey. Thank you for taking the time to share your story and knowledge with us. You've definitely motivated me to take action and pursue my own UA-cam goals with renewed vigor. Here's to continued success and growth on this exciting platform!
Great guide Izzy!! As a small content creator on UA-cam, I know how hard it is to gain traction and attention from the beginning. Like many of you guys, I was tired of creating quality content almost every day and getting only a few hundred views on my best days. After that, I tried to use some tools to boost my social presence (using mostly Famester because it's really popular these days, and work for every platform). Now I don't have to worry about constant changes in algorithm, and honestly I don't regret it. It made everything a lot easier.
but dude we have to pay for this Famester and we are not sure if after we send email to youtube for channel verification will it be verified or not so it's kinda risky and a big loss of money
@@rasalresid9147 of course it's good take risk in our life but, what do you suggest me to do as a broke college student who have no penny in his pockets

4 days back I started my youtube channel on Skincare. I am serious about it and not just as a hobby. That's why I didn't share it with anybody I know: be it family or friends. I really want to see whether my content is actually valuable for the viewers.
Your video appeared on my feed right on time! Can't be more thankful and grateful for the video! It's a gem. ⭐
I actually appreciate the advice to just start by uploading what you love and “your niche will find you.”
As a small UA-camr, I've watched so many videos on this topic but Izzy, yours is the most comprehensive & INSPIRING & warm video I've watched. Thank you for sharing it with us all :) when you have time, if you could share a little bit about how you found and work with your editor, that would be also very helpful to many of us who also have full-time job / business owners. I love the phrase - Journey is the destination and I completely agree with you!
I'm a makeup artist and juust decided to start my youtube channel. Within 10 days i got 37 subs and I'm super motivated to go on. People loving my videos 😍 im so happy .
Thank you for sharing your informative video that helps everyone.❤
I'm a Sfx makeup artist ^^
Thank you! I need this ❤
I started my UA-cam journey a month ago and as you said the better moment is now and in life you only regret what you don’t try 😊
I have been contemplating starting my yt channel. This am I wokr up daring myself to jump to it...but found myself looking into yt AGAIN how to!! U u came up. Thank u sooo much. Am gonna do this. 🙏🏼 for me. Omg am so hyped now thank uuu
Funny how this message made me re-start my youtube channel and upload a vlog the same day that I watched her. I had 8 viewers and it made me so happy!❤ thank you so much.
I so agree with this. My channel is still tiny but I've realized my videos about languages got me most of my views. So I decided to focus on that more to grow. Sometimes people watch and tell me they thought I was a big channel based on the quality and content so I take that as a feedback that I'm on the right path.
I appreciate your no-nonsense work ethic, your simple honesty and vulnerability, your true desire to help others..... And most of all, I appreciate your authentic and genuine spirit. This is the first video I've seen of yours and I already see your beautiful heart. You deserve all the wonderful things in your journey ahead!! Carry on and much love 💕💕😊
We can do this! Good luck to anyone that's at the beginning of their journey, as we are. 🙏

vidiq and socialplus are good options too
it's socialplus, I hope it works out for you as well
vidiq + socialplus (my top 2)
Thank you Izzy for reminding me what I wanted.
It was my childhood dream to earn from UA-cam. Life been busy with studies, work and balancing work and personal life. But to make my little self happy I started YT channel, I don’t know if my channel will monetise or not but I am doing this for my younger self.
I started my channel after hospital... i said to myslef now or never . Its been a week and im so happy ! Im improving video after video . Added also subtitles so ppl can understand ! ❤ your video is a huge motivation!!!
Started 2024 doing this, it may not be much at the moment. But it feels great to do something like this, for once i feel like I'm going to enjoy doing something I've always wanted to do.
Wishing everyone great success in becoming a UA-camr!
😀
Side note: I checked out your channel and instantly became a new subscriber. I have been going back and forth on a silk pillowcase so that’ll be my on-the-way-to-work video to watch! ❤️
@@mississippimagnolias1926 Ah, thank you for the support and best of luck growing your channel. I have realized that my channel really is my learning one, where I am making all the mistakes but growing and learning in the process. So nothing is wasted. But I was also ready to give up not long ago. Now I have decided to put more effort in, and already reaping some rewards.
@@Corrans That's so good to hear, I am glad you are seeing progress! Mistakes are blessings as they continue to teach us as we grow. Best of luck to you as well!
To my views, you're such a lucky person, not everyone can be as lucky as you are! I'm also running my UA-cam channel. It's been almost 3 years and I find it hard to grow my UA-cam channel.. You're sharing such great tips for all UA-camrs.. Hope the best for your channel, Izzy 💪👍🙏😍
Thanks for this comment. Glad to know as I am trying to start a channel and I’ve been torne between niching down and what that would be. I just need to get going and figure it out :-) as she did! But your comment also helps for some reason 😊
Tanto ela quanto o Ali falam sobre a importância de ter um canal que são seja tão focado em nichos, pois o assunto pode acabar muito rápido e você perde chances de crescimento.
I agree!! In my opinion, it’s a lot of pressure to pigeon hole into a specific niche. It’s more freeing to have a few things to talk about.
Congratulations for getting the UA-cam silver button unboxing and Thanks for sharing your wonderful video with us ❤
I just came across this video and it’s so helpful. I recently started a channel and I appreciate this actual advice from someone who grew on UA-cam rather than channels that entire body of content is about growing a channel. So thank you!!!!
Shot my first video 3 months ago borrowing a friend's equipment. Finally took the plunge to buy my own equipment and start my journey on youtube properly. This is a helpful video, broken down properly, and inspirational for a beginner. Will be implementing the tips you shared.

I always like hearing the beginning and the process of everyone’s journey because then I feel like I wasn’t crazy and everyone doesn’t necessarily start the same way. Big congrats on the 400k btw, literally double what you had when you made this video. 🎉
When it comes to controlling my emotions I always just think
“Expectations are the thief of joy”
So with that, in general I just make sure I know that while I love my video, I know I worked hard on it, I know it will give value, some might see it or not at all but don’t worry, you never know what could happen. Even if it fails, that’s ok you can make something better next time.
I just noticed that.

Hey Izzy, I'm wondering if the course/community program you recommended is still helpful for someone who is familiar with the basics of UA-cam (so not completely a beginner)? I generally understand how the algorithm works but could definitely use some social support :)

Thanks so much for sharing.... I've been enlightened. As a senior citizen, got interested in starting my channel as part of ADL to keep myself busy and more productive. I enjoyed my new life endeavors. God bless 🙏 New subscriber from the Philippines.🥰
hi, so gald I clicked ur video. I really resonate with it specially that part about starting yt and u feel like u're wasting effirt bc no one's even paying attention
Am also doing as you said, currently creating videos on what i like and have interest in. Will find a way its a long journey to go😊

Thanks very much for putting this one up. I have been thinking of starting UA-cam for ages but just putting it off using the excuse that I am not ready to jump in. This was really motivating and your advice very helpful and encouraging. Best regards from UK and well done.
Congratulations Izzy , this video was really helpful for me, I started my channel 2 days back will definitely keep your advice in mind ❤
I am a Nutritionist and a small youtuber. I am encouraged by this.
Perfect video for me since I just started a UA-cam channel and was looking for tips
You truly are a testament to the power of hard work and perseverance.
I appreciate how you shared your top tips and secrets with such transparency, and provided practical advice that anyone can apply to their own UA-cam journey. Your passion for creating content and connecting with your audience really shines through, and it's clear that you genuinely care about helping others succeed on this platform.
Thank you for taking the time to share your story and knowledge with us. You've definitely motivated me to take action and pursue my own UA-cam goals with renewed vigor. Here's to continued success and growth on this exciting platform!
Thanks
qqtube is also pretty good
Great guide Izzy!! It made everything a lot easier.
but dude we have to pay for this Famester and we are not sure if after we send email to youtube for channel verification will it be verified or not
so it's kinda risky and a big loss of money
@@mrcontrol111 it worked for my second channel, so idk sometimes I feel like you need to take a risk😃
@@rasalresid9147 of course it's good take risk in our life but, what do you suggest me to do as a broke college student who have no penny in his pockets

Hi Izzy! This is the first video I'm watching of your channel and I'm in love with your communication skills, and how you explained everything you wanted pass across. I'm a small UA-camr, I had another channel with 2K subs, but unfortunately I lost it, so this is a new one that I started and it's been hard to grow😭😭 it's not like my first channel... This video really gave me more motivation to keep going no matter what❤ God bless you and congratulations for your 200K subs, I'm so happy for you. Glad to be part of the subs, hoping to see more of you🥰
Just subscribed to your channel. I started my channel about 3 or 4 years then fell pregnant and took a long break so I'm kinda starting from scatch again but excited for the journey this time around.
How did you lose your channel?

Dang, there's a LOT of valuable info in here! Well done. I like how down to earth your advice is. I've been discouraged a bit lately with how slow my channel has been growing.. So it was helpful to hear you talk about focusing on content and value and NOT the algorithm. And just to keep going. Thanks for the pep talk LOL. I hope you continue to grow and inspire. Cheers.
