    Hassina was transforming Bangladesh into a North Korea and India was patronizing it by being the international support for it. That's why the anger is against India.
    People had been screaming for last few years, India, listen to the people. Deal with the state not Hassina. But India paid no heed to the people.

    I am a secular man and I did support Awami League because of ideological reasons. Immediately after fall of Hasina, most of Awami League functionaries were attacked and their houses were burnt. Hindus were not the main target. For the first time, the Islamist Parties came forward to protect Hindus' properties and the Hindus.

      @@muhammadabulhossain5628Same here, but the leaders did commit atrocities, can't deny that. In stead of embodying Awami values, they behaved like autocratic regim. Islamist partiers are trying to prove that they are the good guys. Because otherwise people won't accept them.Yet India thinks "the people" are terrorists. India should come out of the narrow viewpoints. Sense of Bengalism is a strong force India should recognize.

    Believe me I have been watching News from various Indian TV channels, UA-cam channels for last couple of weeks and i found no authentic discussion but propaganda except your discussion. I admit that i have commented very badly in those discussions but today i would like to appreciate the journalist who has visited Bangladesh recently and stated the ground reality that is quite professional and trustworthy. If the Indian government just act like what she said is enough to build a good relation with Bangladesh I'm telling you. Forget about the envoys and their advice who have been employed Bangladesh, their diplomacy has totally been failed and it was totally wrong. Thanks for this discussion. Try to bring some professional journalists and things will definitely change and it is bound to change. I had nothing but hatrance to the Indian any media but today my notion has changed bcz of this positive thinking and indian policy makers should think like her. Hats off to you sister.

      You have to read between the lines, they will use the word “allegedly”, and will never ever give details to Hasina’s killings, abductions, and theft of banks. So don’t be fooled by even this channel. The farthest they will go is saying something like there are lots of grievances in Bangladesh against Hasina’s party. She is also painting a picture that Jamat is behind some kind of hatred and violence towards minorities.

    • @alamgirhossain4829
      @alamgirhossain4829 Місяць тому

      I meant, at least, she is not saying minority killing and other propaganda like the other channels spreading. And I'm not saying this channel is good or something like that, I'm saying at least this journalist doesn’t say anything blindly. At least dares to say something valuable. So i appreciate that.....

    There always has been a sizable percentage of Bangladeshis, which included the BNP-Jamaat combine who have been anti-India even way back in the early 2000s. Maybe Ms. Sharma is not aware of this. The Jamaat has always been pro-Pakistan and Khalida Zia always harboured this wild notion that India was involved in the assasination of her husband. She allowed anti-India elements like the ULFA to build camps on Bangladeshi soil. Everything has a history and to a great extent India was pushed into the Awami League camp because of this. No one cares to mention all this nowadays including Ms. Sharma here.

    On what authority would a Bangladeshi challenge my, a West Bengal Bengali Hindu, moral authority to question him about his treatment of Hindus. He calls himself a Bengali, right? In West Bengal Muslims have lived in peace from ever since I can remember and I am 62 years old. And they're 30% of our population, more than the 8% Hindus that Bangladesh has. Can any Bangladeshi tell me if the Hindus there are from Modi's Gujarat or some such place?

      @@muhammadabulhossain5628 That has no bearing on the mostly poor and low caste Hindus who are the targets in these cases. Even in India communal riots have the lowest common denominator as both perpetrators and victims. My question is that do Bangladeshis realise that in West Bengal a larger percentage of Muslims, as compared to percentage of Hindus in Bangladesh, have lived peacefully for a long time? This situation may change as forces are at work to create a Hindu Muslim divide in WB to capture power and we may not be able to resist much longer in face of provocation from Bangladesh. My own family came from Santosh Ghosh in what was then Faridpur district and now possibly Gopalganj in 1947. Has the profile of the Hindu in Bangladesh changed to that of a Gujarati, UP, Bihar, Assamese etc? And I ask in the context of around 2 crore Bengali Muslims in WB who have lived peacefully through Congress, Communist and now Trinamool rule for long time. Please answer me.

    Madam please don't support md Yunus. The main problem is rest of the india doesn't understand Bengali language that's the main reason they don't understand what is their intentions. Recently jamat declared that Hindus can't play hindu mantra on mic.they said it because after a month we worship maa Durga. And md Yunus support it. Once he said that Hindus were big supporters for hasina that' why they are facing problems that is not communal attack. This is his real face so please don't try to defend him. He is not advocating for secularism.

    There is a space for the Far right in US EU and everywhere in the world. Infact one of those are in power now in india. So in a democracy there will always be a space for everyone, including in Bangladesh.
    The more you panic and spread hate on Jamaat, more you make them relevant and popular. So if you don’t want to see Jamaat in power then don’t talk about them. Don’t make them relevant. 😅
    You people really are pretty much politically illiterate it seems. BJP does it to energise his voter base but I don’t know why the journalists do that? Are you trying to help BJP by doing it? 😅
    Let me tell you, the world understands that, whether yu understand or not. 😅

    An interview of a person who has met about half a dozen selected persons. Equating Bangladesh ( where the Hindu population has dwindled in every census) with India ( where the Muslims have grown by 50% as a share of the population between 1951 and the last census) in terms of secularism shows how biased this lady is. By presenting such nonsense, how do they expect more subscribers?
