It is such a refreshing change from those times when a few strategic pundits would monopoloise the debates on foreign policy issues with so called iconic anchors like Karan Thapar. Most of those discussions were structured to give a so called " fair assessent ". Needless to mention criticizing Indian policy makers was par for the course. All of us know about those sanctimonious punditry of the strategic foregin policy experts.
Please invite Mr. Jayadev Ranade who can give us great insights on China and also Nitin Gokhale on India borders.. Would be a delight to watch both !!!
Ajay Bisaria is an example of Old Establishment. For maintaining his access to the glitterati speaks all talking points of interests other than that of India. His views on critical Indian interests have likely damaged India. He speaks the language of pleasing foreign powers.

Excellent and most insightful discussion with two of India’s finest and astute diplomats and geo strategists. Normally I can’t persevere with long podcasts but in your case the longer the better. Keep them coming. We in the diaspora love them. 🙏🙏
Ajay Bisaria is completely wrong about the Chinese intentions or prediction about their behaviour post Modi 3.0. Knowledge about our real enemy no. 1 i.e. China is crucial in countering it.
I thought Mr. Ajay will tell truth but he was telling just lie. He didn’t say who we deal with Khalistani in Canada. I live in Canada. These Indian diplomatic don’t do anything here. They just take salary and heavy perks

Question to Mr Tilak : why should kashmir statehood be the determining factor for Talks with Pakistan. They snapped the ties, so why should we give them something in terms of statehood to kashmir. That would send a very wrong message that we were forced to give statehood. As a kashmiri, statehood should be restored after 30 years of 2019 maybe in 2047. The years lost in militancy should be taken as time barometer for it being a UT. Those farooqs and muftis should understand the value of being a responsible "state" like others in India.
Why doesn't media call out false narratives ? Don't give publicity. Great discussion. Should be a regular feature. Include Sushant ji also. More of China and less of Pakistan. Thank you all. Jai Bharat 🙏
We don't bother what neighbours or Canada or US thinks and wishes to have which government we will elect. It's our right to elect our leaders, it's non of their business and they should not interfere. Offcourse they know what India is now!!!!!!!

It's curious that these obviously erudite gentlemen speak half truths. Would really like to hear their opinion on whether our democracy is evolving or devolving. Especially as one of them has lived close to places where the great upheavals of early 20th century changed the world and history of the main actors who created the conditions for such events. Or does that history and the lessons don't matter or do they condone them
The main point everyone is missing is that this allegation was on criminality issue. Criminality is not like Kanishka, or Nuclear fuel stoppage. Or for that matter in Khalistani Politics. Anyway just the kno0wledge of everyone. Creation of Khalistan will happen on Canadian soil and so does West Pakistan a lot many Pakistani retired generals and Pakistanis are living in Canada and 100% of them are Muslims. Canada! Smitha you referred the US as Pakistan's aaka.. in fact Pakistan has developed many aakas since 1947.. they have Saudi Arabia and China their all weather .. each time they are .. one of the akaa's come to help on their own..

1. About Pakistan- it is simple. First, Pakistan has nothing to do with J&K after Art 370 was abrogated- whether it is a UT or a state. Secondly, we have nothing to do with their elected Govts, as the Army controls everything. So let us NOT get into Aman Ki Asha mode ever again. Until Pakistan Army and ISI stops all anti terror activities against India fully and completely, nothing can happen in our relations Thirdly, India will not trade with Pakistan as any trade with Pakistan means feeding their coffers for terrorist activities, open our borders for drug trade etc. 2. In fact, Modi 3.0 should actively support anti Pak forces in variety of ways like via Taliban, support for POK, Baloch and Sindh movements etc. 3. China is making moves in Shaksgam Valley and is unlikely to change its stance on border with India. This works well for India, as we are building up our defenses and infrastructure on the border. Plus we are close to US and we are getting required defense technologies from US. And yet China is our biggest trading partner!!!! 4. Excellent and refreshing discussions by Tilak and Ajay.
Beta hum jo karay gy na tumhari naslay yaad rakhnay gi tum wasay bi anti Pakistan forces ko support karty ho jasay BLA or TTP humay karni chaye tumharay khilaf i s i ko karna chaye
Honestly, I'm fine with the way we are dealing with Pakistan. Our stand should be that they need to come to us with a deal that we can talk about. If they can not manage that after the decade of abject mismanagement and decline, then it's their loss. When it comes to China, we have to be able to show them that we can and will challenge them if they want it, but would rather have equitable relations and compete economically. China is tricky because their demographics are not in their favor for the next 50/60 years. However, they are very much looking to bully the region into submission. And they are nervous about the potential impact India can have on their trade in the Indian Ocean.
Common people especially young people are talking against India. Its shocking. Bangladesh got so much help from India but the are dare to talk to boycott India. India must teach them a lesson.

The analysis is from narrow point of view. The Bangladesh relationship with India has also to be seen from influenced by other powers apart from the internal radical islamists and leftists.
