0:20 This is exactly why I hate Chrome and anyone browser that tries to copy this setup. All that crap at the top gives you absolutely 0 information at what you’re looking at. For example, let’s say you have a tab open about a tutorial on UA-cam. Go ahead and tell me which one of those dozen of tabs is the one I’m looking for. Ohh, I have to hover over them to get the preview? One by one? Safari on the hand allows me to preview all the websites that I have by easily just going on the tab group. If I’m using a trackpad, swipe out easy. I’m using a mouse, I have my own customised shortcut for that. Add to the fact that I like having a lot of tabs open and if I did this on Chrome, this would easily turn into a list of unorganised garbage. The timestamp is already showing the UA-cam tabs as being nothing but cluster. And no, the tab groups don’t help because the unnecessary tabs are still there. Like if I’m working right now, I don’t need the tab group “You” or “Up” to take any of my available space on my tab bar. Now Apple is pushing it even further with profile. In college I have multiple subjects and I can easily switch between tab groups by going to my School profile. Same for work. Safari’s way of managing all your tabs is far better than any other browser that I’ve used. There are some that attempted to do the same thing such as Opera Gx with their left bar but still if you have a lot of tabs, it doesn’t give you a preview of each page until you hover over them. And that’s one of the worst things to do with searching for a tab that you’ve opened minutes ago but got lost in the sea of other tabs.
The only reason why I'm not using Safari that much is because of the lack of an option to set where to open the 'new tab'. Currently, it opens all the way to the end and I want it to open to the right of the current tab.
