- Christmas came early this year!
Costco had a really good sale on this LG 86" 4K UHD Smart LED TV (Model# 86UN8570AUD)
www.costco.com/lg-86%22-class...
The regular price for this TV was $1850, but they dropped the price to $1450 for their holiday sale. They also included a 3yr extended warranty through Allstate/Squaretrade ($100 value), and $100 Hulu credit. That's one helluva deal!
If you buy it on the Costco website, they offer free shipping as well. They also sell them at the local Costco warehouses.
Here are the complete specs on the LG website:

I hope you guys enjoy the video!
The bottom line is, you got what you wanted. Doesn’t matter what other people think or say.
Exactly! 👍🏼
Welcome home my brother.. I been having my 86 for a while now!! Love it
Enjoy it in the very best of health, brother! 😎👍🏼
Thank you for posting. We apreciate you letting us into your house and explaining how you got this TV.
It’s my pleasure. I’m glad you liked the video! 😎👍🏼
Great Deal and it looks amazing with sound bar setup and hidden wires. CONGRATS !!!
Thank you!
The LG looks great, and I'm glad you got exactly what you wanted!
Thank you for the kind words. I’m loving it so far. Absolutely no regrets! 😎👍🏼
Even Noodles the cat was enjoying the new tv while sitting on the couch at the end of the video.
Yeah, he loves movie time 😺
I just purchased one from Costco and can’t wait to have it... yayyy so excited and makes me more excited by watching this video 😍😍😍
OMG! Congrats! You’re gonna love it! 😬
A smart, very well organized no nonsense video!

Very good review. I am Christmas shopping for the right tv upgrade and this helps. Thanks again, and God Bless.
Thank you for the kind words, and I’m glad you liked the video! I hope you’re able to find the right TV for you. Happy holidays!
I just ordered the same tv in 75" with the 5 year warranty and it will be here this wednesday Jan 6 and talk about excited, it was a good deal here in Canada $1699. + $99.00 for the extended warranty. Thanks so much I watched your video before I ordered.
Congrats! Enjoy it in the very best of health! 😎👍🏼
I just got mine a month ago from Amazon $1450. It is amazing! Love it. The magic remote is so awesome. The 4k looks great.
Congrats! I’m glad you’re loving it.
Enjoy it in the very best of health! 😎👍🏼
Why would you think that? I have seen the competition. I dont want to spend the same amount or more on a small ass 55" or 65" OLED. This monster screen is super crisp in 4k and big enough to be truly immersed. I dont see any problems with it at all. I'll wait until price comes way down before buying an 88" OLED for under 2k
Great job and I truly respect your reasonings for purchasing this TV. Most people do not have a trained eye (or your guest) as others mentioned in their comments. TV’s are like cars. In productions their will be some bad batches and that’s why it’s good to get the best warranty as you did. Nice TV and decor. Thumbs up.
Thank you for the kind words. I’m glad you liked the video! Stay safe, and God bless! 🙏🏼
Thank you for this! Just got this same tv but at Best Buy for the same price. Excited!
Awesome! Enjoy it in good health!
But no 7 yr warranty avail and a 3 mo money back guarantee like Costco not to mention getting Costco 2% back
Just bought mine from Best Buy with a 5yr warranty. Awsome addition to the basement. I'll be installing an LG tall speakers surround sound 1000watt system to it. Can't wait to install it this weekend.
You’re gonna love it! Good luck putting it together this weekend, and let us know how it goes.
Thanks for watching 😎👍🏼
Congrats. How much did you buy it for ? Please share
Loved your review, simple and to the point. Thank you.
Thank you for the kind words. I’m glad you liked the video 😎👍🏼
you think this was a review? ..lol. He did not go into detail of the WebOS, He did not talk about how bad the viewing angles on this tv. How dark the colors are because of the IPS and of course is a backlighted TV meaning the only and best viewing angle is right in front. If you have sectionals or people over for a major sporting event only the ones in front will get the best colors.
@@ChRisu_Ojisan Yes I do

That’s a good deal, I paid full price for mine. Great purchase
Even at full price, this TV is an outstanding value 👍🏼
You got what you wanted/needed so good choice. The room is with decent amount of light so LED is probably better choice than OLED which is better in darkened cinema room. I have LED myself and have not questioned my choice. Enjoy that HUGE TV!

Getting better with vlogging and editing 👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you! I’ll keep practicing so I can improve some more 🤓

e.g. copper reacts to police encounter (good or bad), reacts to police movies/series, siege, arrests, GTA, etc.

Just got this but 86” 2022 model same exact deal today from Sam’s Club for $899. Killer!
Insane deal! I hope you enjoy the heck out of it! 😎👍🏼
Ditto on everything you said at the end. There was no way I was wanting to afford the price of the more expensive televisions and actually didn’t even think I could afford a TV of the size you’re right I got it at Costco for 1499 and you can’t argue the fact that that’s a heck of a deal for that size television. Also, the price dropped $100 within 30 days so basically got it for 1399. Give noodles a scratch for me
$1399 is an excellent price. You’d be hard pressed to find anything else that comes close in the size/quality/price ratio. Enjoy it in the very best of health!

Great tv, great furniture, great home, great life.

Thanks man! I’m still loving it 😎👍🏼
As I understand, normally extended warranty starts from the end of OEM’s warranty so I guess having overlapping extended may doesn’t make sense as an additional benefits!
You made a excellent choice 8series tweak and plus it has 2 input hdmi 2.1 for ps5 and Xbox series x
Thanks!
Mine is getting delivered on 12th august 2023 I can't wait.

Here I'm thinking my 70" is BIG that tv is HUGE...I like it
So you like it big huh?
Congrats, so happy for you! Over time, I went from a 24" tube TV to a Panasonic 42" 1080p plasma, to an LG 55" 3DTV, and at the beginning of 2019 made the jump to a Samsung 75" NU7100. I didn't think prices would drop any lower but they have since I got my Samsung! I very much enjoy it however for movies and games and just viewing in general. I hardly go to the movie theatres since getting the 75". I think next time at some point in the future, I'd probably go for 82" or 86" as you have. I also have a sound bar, upgrading from built in TV speakers is pretty much essential.
I’m sure with hard work, you’ll achieve everything you desire! Best of luck! 😎
Nice TV you got another great deal from Costco congratulation's enjoy. I own a LG 65" OLED CX 2020 model and its incredible paired with my 2019 Yamaha Yas-209 life is good.
That sounds like a great setup! 😎👍🏼

“I’m just a pretty simple guy, I just want an 86’ TV”
Sounds pretty simple to me 😅
I have the 65” of this but the 9000 series. I love it! The picture and sound quality is great! I too want a bigger one. lol
Maybe one day you can upgrade to a bigger size! I’m sure they’ll be cheaper by then too.
@@iBJanky I’m thinking about it when I get my tax return. lol

@@cesar5478 I have a friend with one. I don’t like them so I have no desire for one. They are great if you want to take it outside which I wouldn’t. I live in apt complex. I’ve actually decided to stick with my 65in for now.
Good video
Thanks for watching! 😎👍🏼
Good luck with the 86! We have gone through two 82 inch tv's. Panels went out and replaced by Samsung. After replacing it with another. Was told by others, that the same thing happened. Went back to our trusty 65 inch.
which model of the samsung did you get ? if you bought the UT7000 then i can understand why but if it was one of the Qleds that was just bad luck. The UT7000 is the worse TV in the maarket next to the Vizio's V series.
It was a 82inch Qled Q60 4k purchased Nov 2018 from Costco. Went out May 2019. New panel was installed June 2019 by Samsung. Went out August 2019. 🤬
@@diazjr1975 it was bad luck buddy. The 2018 Q60 was actually a better model that this year's Q60. Sorry to hear that but don't feel bad about it. I would probably recommend the Q80 or the Sony 90CH for costco (900H retail model)
I really love his reasoning I was about to spend 3000 on a oled but I’m going to get this tv
Costco currently has the 86” LG on sale for $999. That’s a STEAL!
You funny gotta love a guy with a cat named noddles 🤣🤣🤣

I always look for a compromise when buying so that I can save money.
I did it with my place, all it's furnishings and my car.

You don't need to spend everything you got to have nice things.

Ah, would have loved to see some light gaming on that.
I have to get my hands on a PS5 first 😅
Nice deal, let me know when you're available so you can help shop for my huge big screen tv 🤣

@Yuri, 86" not 85". That extra inch makes a big difference 😂

@David Mander Really! And good luck finding something to watch.
@@billp4 No need to argue with stupidity
Awesome. Curious about the black levels. I agree, I would rather keep the extra money in my pocket and I already have a great surround sound system to hook up to it. Looks great. I mostly watch movies and TV, gaming is for another TV...lol
The black levels look great to my untrained eyes, and I'm sure 99% of the population would agree. I mostly watch Netflix and the TV can handle 4K streaming without any issues. I'm super happy with the TV!
@@iBJanky It's hard to tell unless you have them side by side, which is the beauty of ignorance is bliss. I lived with Sony 52" LCD for 14 years, it was an amazing TV and for 14 year old TV it had amazing black levels. When I went to the store and checked $1000-$1500 level TVs, non of them had that kind of black level, and viewing angle was horrible. It wasn't plasma, just regular LCD, but somehow I was getting amazing viewing angle. I had to go up to 2500 level TV on 77" (basically get OLED) to have similar viewing angles and color.
So, you have to compare side by side to tell the difference, otherwise the TV you buy will always be the best TV you have. Get what you can afford, and that's it. Sounds system is as important as the TV. You can definitely build a decent sound system for under $1k, don't be fooled by "have to spend $5k and get Atmos" I have 5.1 and it's still amazing experience with great speakers and fine tune system. I wish I could get Atmos, maybe one day later when they get cheaper.
@@HeadingForTomorrow I 100% agree. Get what you can afford, and enjoy the hell out of it! Life’s too short 😎👍🏼

Awesome mate...
I bought the same TV
, but in Australia ours is a little different.
But I'm not getting suckered into spending double on a nanocell or oled.
These IPS panels are really great quality..
Congrats! How do you like yours?
@@iBJanky
Does everything I need and more..
I sell TVs for a living and this TV represents the best dollar for dollar ratio without getting ripped off...
Nanocell is LGs money maker..
Can't sell that to a salesman
Our cheapest LG 86 inch here in Australia Costs $2500 (USD)
But is a 200Hz panel and not a 120Hz...
Can't believe how cheap things are in the USA.
But if u work in a supermarket here u get paid $18 (USD) per hour
The 86 inch have a VA screen thats why the screen is so nice brite and very sharp, and high contrast ratio is much higher than a ips screen.
Only the 65 inch have the ips screen. Greetings from a tv fan from Holland.

Great video! I think they just increased the price to 1649 after your video upload
They increased the price back to its normal price of $1850.
I have LG nano 2019 and I only need indoor rabbit ears to get 150 broadcast channels. No sound bar needed using the setting that punches up the vocal audio. It didn't need much adjustment. I usually calibrate using broadcast TV news to capture most lifelike skin tones. At 75 inches you can see individual sweat pores and over done make-up. My Sony 55 inch is no comparison to the LG, also the RCA #122z rabbit ears require no adjustments on the LG. Epic movies like 'Titanic' are better experienced broadcast than the movie theater. I am not tempted to bother with cable or satellite subscriptions. Most people don't know broadcast quality is the best.
Question i just bought same tv and i cant seem to find the judder adjustment The pic is to much like a soap opera if u know what I mean, any help much appreciated
Enjoy!😍👍

An 86” TV would be a night and day viewing experience. Good luck with your future upgrade!
I thought this was a review of that tv. He must be a Costco employee
The problem with TVs as we all have learned the past 15 or so years is that it doesn’t make financial sense to buy the latest tech. Simply because the newest TV that costs $3500 today will be selling new for $1000 or less on a couple of years. So I’m like him on this video. I buy what I want within my budget and have yet to have any regrets.
A $3500 will never be $1000 and in years it won't be new, it'll be a refurb LoL
Stay with old tech
I'll spend too have the best
I've tried telling this to a friend of mnie. What is top tier tech today like panels such as oled will be budget tech tomorrow. In fact a Chinese manufacturer named BOE is planning on making oleds that will cost more half the manufacturing costs of LG's..Soon you could see panels like such cost well under $1000 for a 65'.
@@djlennyb It's your money. Do what makes you happy!
